Park So Jin's POV

I was panting like a dog when I finished doing my gym routine.

I chugged down the water I bought with me and let them drip over my head to refresh myself.

But it looks like, it wasn't enough.

I wiped down my sweat on my neck ans arms using my towel then let it hung loose around my neck.

"Bro, look at that hot chick. " Lee Jo Song, a fellow Korean, commented and sat down beside me on the ground. He gestured his mouth to the woman in her black and pink sports bra and tight leggings that flexes her buttocks. "Damn, that sexy ass!" He even whistled and I shook my head.

My mind was already exhausted with the recent turmoil with our latest potential investor which my brother told me about.

I asked him the name and talked directly to the investor. The latter just wouldn't budge.

He's more demanding than I thought. I was about to give up the meeting but I realized we might benefit more from it so I thought it over again.

I stretched my arms and bent them sideways hoping to relieve the momentary muscle pain. Thankfully, it cooperated with some cracking of bones.

My weights must have gotten its effect on me. I chuckled lightly and resumed to people watching.

It wasn't long enough when my phone rang. I lazily took it from my gym bag and noticed mom calling me.

"Eomma. " I answered as soon as my phone reached my ear. I forgot to get my earpods from my car so I had to endure her abrupt screams from my phone.

"Park So Jin!" Her high-pitched voice welcomed my ears that I have to pull my phone away.

"Mwoya?" I asked calmly and drew a deep breath while fanning myself with my towel.

"Oneul bam 6 sikka ji jib-e." Mom said in her serious tone.

I can almost imagine herself fuming with her demanding aura.

"Wae?" I asked and my forehead creased in curiosity.

"Just do so!
Dongsaeng-ege gat-i galago malhae. " She said and hung up.

I groaned and let my head hung low to my abdomen.

I just want to sleep all day. But it looks like I'll be dealing with mom later.

"Is that your eomma?" Jo Song asked and chuckled when I nodded. "Looks like it's goodbye to your precious bed again. "

I frowned and started to stand.
"Be hitting the showers. See you around, brother. " I said and we bumped our fists as goodbye.

Taking my gym bag with me, I went directly to the shower area and did what I had to do.

Thankfully, I had the shower room to myself. Most are still on their sessions at this hour.

I heard my phone rang, and I turned to see who it was. Still with the shower turned on and my hair dripping wet all throughout my body, I swiped it and saw my brother calling.

I put it on a loud speaker and communicated with him.

"Yo, hyeong! Eomma wants us to come together for dinner later. Can you pick me up?" My younger brother, Park So Young, asked.

I ran my hands over my chest as I continued soaping my body.
"Fine. I'll be just in my condo this afternoon. Where will we meet?"

"Gomawoyo! I'm at work until 3pm today. Maybe, we can meet at the restaurant about a few miles from my office. You know the Spanish restaurant there?" He asked, excitedly.

"Ver, Oler, Probar?" I asked pertaining to the only Spanish restaurant in the block.

"Bingo. " So Young chuckled.

"We'll be having dinner at our house, why meet there?" I asked and rolled my eyes.

"They serve coffee too!" So Young defended. "I needed a break from our investors insanity lately. I'm sure you do too! Sige na, hyeong!" He whined like a kid.

"Arasso." I said. I knew he wouldn't give up. "Let's meet by 5:00 at the most."

"Gamsabhanida! Saranghae, hyeong! See you later!" So Young said cheerily and hung up.

What a kid! I finished showering and drove to my condo.

Come 6pm, we were already inside our house.

So Young was comfortable seated on his usual spot at the corner of our sofa while I sat on the single seater.

Mom was staring at us with a serious and amused expression.

"Kumusta kayo?" She asked speaking in Tagalog which brother and I found intriguing.

Normally, and as much as possible, she barely uses the language inside the comforts of our home. Looks like she became accustomed to it.

"I'm fine and still handsome, eomma." So Young answered and winked at her.

"Same, same. " I answered in a bored voice.

"Then, what are these?" She asked and threw a couple of pictures on top of our center table.

I saw brother picked one and the color drained from his face. His jaw dropped but he quickly regained his composure.

Curious, I picked one. I saw two cute kids, probably around four to five years old, with a woman turned to them.

The girl has a pink dress and her brother has on a cute ensemble.

"Ano ba yan, Mom?" I asked inquisitively.

"Kaninong mga anak yan!" She exclaimed while her posture still intact. Her facial expression slightly changed from trivial to somewhat excited look.

"Huh?" I asked baffled.

"Look at their right ankles! They have the same leaf like shaped birthmarks like you two! Have their DNA and yours tested! I want answers this week! ASAP!" She ordered and went to the dining area.

My jaw dropped and I looked at brother. He just gave me a sly smile.

"Are they yours?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Are they yours?" He shot back. "Obviously hindi kay So Min yan. Nasa Korea ang utol ever since he was born. Bilang lang sa daliri ang pag lalagi nun dito. "

Staring at the pictures, I felt an excited glow. Its like I'm dying to see them and pinch their cheeks.

Damn! I wished they are mine!
