Knock knock.
Olympe slightly jumped, surprised by the sound. She watched the door open, and Rebekah's head popped inside.
"Hey, dear," she smiled at her. "Can I come in?"
Olympe nodded, gesturing to her friend to come inside. She was standing on her balcony, enjoying the evening breeze. After this morning event, she didn't get out and wasn't really in the mood to talk or see anyone.
"Did Kol tell you we have a party for you tonight?" Rebekah asked softly.
"He did tell," Olympe nodded, going back inside the room. "When does it start?"
"Around 8 this evening," the blonde answered.
"It's still early then."
"Yes, I came to see if you were alright. Hayley told me about this morning. Poor girl feels bad about what happened," she explained while sitting on the bed.
"She shouldn't feel bad. It wasn't her fault," Olympe said, joining the blonde.
"I was thinking you could help her find a pretty dress for tonight."
"Why don't you do it? Your closet is probably the best in the city," Olympe laughed.
"Come on, Oly, we both know your closet is more than impressive! And by the look of your many bags, I can tell you bring more than a few dresses," she mirrored her laugh as she gently elbowed the brunette.
"Okay, okay, I'll help her," Olympe surrounded with a bright smile for her dear friend, and they laughed together. "Where is she now?" she asked as she looked at her bags, already wondering what the werewolf could wear.
"Somewhere in the compound, probably with Elijah," Rebekah shrugged.
"I'll go find her later then," Olympe nodded to herself.
The two vampires talked for a while before Rebekah left the room to go and prepare herself for the party, while Olympe went to look for Hayley.
She surprisingly found her in the shared library with a large book between her hands. The she-wolf looked intensely focused on it. Taking care not to scare her, Olympia gently knocked on the door frame. Noticing her, Hayley smiled shyly at the vampire.
"Hey, I hope I'm not disturbing you," Olympe said gently as she went to sit by Hayley's side.
"No, it's okay," she answered, putting the book away. "Er... I really wanted to apologise for what happened with Klaus. It was unfair," she declared, looking genuinely contrite.
"It's okay," Olympe waved her apology away. "He already apologised," she explained with a soft smile. The look that Hayley gave her suggested that Niklaus apologising was more than a rare occurrence for her. In all honesty, Olympe wasn't surprised.
