Artemis POV (weren't expecting that, were you?)

I sit on my cot, and Thalia stands before me, her argument making her body tense as if fighting an actual battle, her words sharpened in ways only the truly confident in themselves can forge.

"Reyna is not a child of Greece. She doesn't belong here. Not when you don't go by Diana." She starts.

I sigh, the beginnings of anger sparking, but calmly say, "Reyna is a woman seeking refuge- who are we to refuse her?"

"Reyna can find shelter with the Amazons. You know it, I know it, and she knows it."

I tilt my head. "You surprise me, Thalia. I thought you liked Reyna."

Thalia shakes her head, and for a moment her anger dims. "It's not that, my lady. Not that at all. I respect Reyna." Her voice hardens. "But I also respect the laws of our world. Reyna is Roman and belongs with Diana, not Artemis. Not our hunt."

I sigh. "You have a point, Thalia. But Reyna isn't hunting, nor is she gaining the immortality benefits of being a hunter. She's just regaining herself to save New Rome. To save all demigods, in a way."

"And she can't do that with the Amazons?"

Having enough, I stand. "I've told you my reasons for offering Reyna shelter. I've reviewed your reasons for taking that offer back. I've deemed your reasons insufficient for going back on a promise to someone in need of aid."

"But,  my lady-"

"There are no buts!" I step closer. "Unless, of course, you mean to say that you don't want Reyna to have what she needs to neutralize the SHIELD threat. Unless you want Camp Half-Blood and New Rome to fall at SHIELD's hands. Unless you want them to come after us next and leave no foundation for future demigods, no place of safety for your people, and no protection against monsters for the next century. Because I can tell you this, Thalia. If you want any of those things, I will declare you a traitor and kill you myself."

Thalia would not back down. "Of course I don't want those things to happen! B-"

I cut her off. "Good. I'll see you at dinner, then."

Thalia sighs, exasperated, and leaves. I sigh as well- I thought, after everything we'd been through, maybe we'd finally get a break. That the demigods may finally find peace.

As this is not the case, I decide to take matters into my own hands. Being a god I cannot directly interfere, but I can send in the Hunters to do things...

"Thalia!" I call, exiting my tent. She turns. "Call a council meeting. I have a plan to help Reyna."

Reyna POV

What Lady Dia- I mean, Artemis says makes sense. Surely, the Daughter of the Winds would know where Nico is being held, and we can persuade her to our side. I don't even mind being the bait- so long as Daisy, Daughter of Aeolus, was the one to take me.

(A/n guess who's back and has memorized some new musicals? This gal. Some Beetlejuice, all of six, and most of In The Heights. You can't stop me.
