Maria laid in bed staring at the ceiling  she had decided not to go to Eliza's little friendly as much as she wanted too she didnt feel comfortable enough she had been in bed for hours now just sitting the drugs have worn off she hadnt even texted eliza back she couldn't find a good enough excuse or apology what was she supposed to say sorry I'm not comfortable enough to go because I was forced to sleep with your boyfriend and all your friends probably hate me

She was kept thinking for a while before Burr came in her room throwing some clothes on her bed making her sit up "get changed we're going to the bar and I know you just got drugged but I think we all need a drink right now besides my friend Henry invited me out and I'd rather you come then stay here and we're not giving  you a choice to not go he said shutting her up before she could even say anything he proceeded to leave the room leaving her stunned alright then she got up getting changed it was a black tank top and Jean's with black boots she left her hair half up and half down before walking out of the room

Madison and Thomas giving Burr an "how tf did you do that look" before quickly covering it up looking to her "you ready to go?" Madison said and she nodded going back in her ready grabbing her phone and a tiny handbag and walking outside getting in the car with the others this is probably the first time I'm getting in this car not crying or passd out this week she thought to herself

(I've been writing this chapter for like 3/4 days now so yes it was Thanksgiving that day)

They got to the bar and Maria walked right in ignoring the boys looking around for a bit bitting her top lip a nervous habit she had before seeing a girl across the bar playing cards against humanity with 2 other people on the floor at a couch she had curly curly hair and it was half brown half red her eyes were a beautiful brown and she had a ripped teal jacket on she guessed she was staring to long being as the girl was now looking at her, her head tilted at maria before completely turning to her still being on the floor they had eye contact for a short amount of time that honestly felt like a life time before Jefferson grabbed her hand "come on! Let's get a drink he said slightly excited leading her to the bar jesus is he already drunk?  She looked back to the girl but saw she was gone weird jesus I'm not hallucinating again am I?  She sat down as Jefferson bought them both a shot before she took hers and Madison dragged Jefferson off leaving by herself staring at her now empty shot glass

She didn't realize how long she was staring at it before the bartender refiled it and she quickly looked up at her "oh um I didn't order another one she said and the bartender smiled "yeah I know she did the bartender said before pointing at the girl from earlier now sitting at a stool across from her almost covered by the crowd the girl lifted her cup signaling maria to do the same which she did before they both drank at the same time she put the cup back down the burning sensation going down her throat before she looked back seeing the girl gone again what the fuc- MARIA she heard Burr call and she turned to him "I found my friend come on let me introduce you to them he said and she nodded letting him lead the way notcing Thomas and Madison with them where did they even come from?

She shook her head ignoring her thoughts before seeing a dude with brown hair and blue eyes "Maria this is Henry Henry this Is Mariahe said and she stuck her hand out as he shook it "nice to meet you he said before another girl turned around one she easily recognized as a thick tension was quickly welcomed not being unseen by the others "and this is Angelica Angie this is Maria Burr said awkwardly as Maria felt Angelica glaring into her soul "yeah I know who she is Angelica said rudely before Burr cleared his throat loudly "sorry my throats a but scratchy anyways um last but not least this Is Theodosia he said

Introducing the girl from before as maria stuck her hand out again the girl shaking it "yeah we met nice to finally meet you she said stretching the last sentence "oh um Maria my names Maria she said as they still shook hands not really letting go and the girl smiled as maria finally let go the girls hand lingering for a bit "beautiful name for a Beautiful girl Theodosia said smiling and Maria blushed a bit (I ALMOST WROTE RAVEN OOPS)

this also wasn't caught unnoticed by the others "ALRIGHT WELL LETS GET FUCKED UP Madison yelled pushing them all to the bar as they all held shot glasses The girl Theodosia lifted hers up to Maria once more as they took the shots together 1,2,3,4,5 shots or well maybe 7 being as she took two earlier she couldn't remember everything was a blur she stumbled against someone and the person quickly fell to the floor

She immediately apologized before seeing it was theodosia they both laughed it off and Maria helped her up both very drunk before they held eye contact getting closer to each other "thank you Theodosia whispered "yeah no problem maria said she could feel Thedosias breath on her she decided to take a leap of faith before closing the gap kissing her as the girl quickly kissed back this sooner or later resulted in them heading back to Thomas's place but before anything wild had happened they had both fallen asleep on the couch both of them finally feeling safe even if they never saw each other again the comfort of each other was all they needed that night

OKAY I'M FINALLY DONE WITH THIS CHAPTER IT ONLY TOOK LIKE 4 OR 5 DAYS IDEK IT TOOK A WHILE ahh yes getting inspiration at 2am but also i ended this earlier cause I need to sleep ooops I got escuela tommorow and I'm tired but happy belated thanksgiving I love yalls!
