AFTER A FEW more days, I settled into a Fire Nation prison routine. I'd wake up, then watch whatever was on FNBS. One advantage Zuko had over me right now was information, and even though FNBS was awful, it was all I had. And I'd started to notice some things about the Fire Nation. It really was a truckload of propaganda. They said that the Fire Nation was the best nation, and they were fighting this war for the good of the world. I mean... seriously?

After being disgusted by the media and government, my lovely prison guards would bring me a bowl of rice. I'd try to strike up conversation with them, but each time they told me to shut up.

Then, for the rest of the day, I'd watch TV or sit staring at the walls until I felt sleepy. Sometimes I thought of escape plans (maybe I could use the TV as a weapon and force the door down!), but none of them seemed efficient.

A few times, the ship would shake violently like there was an earthquake, which I deduced to be a fight of some sort happening above deck. Of course, no one bothered to tell me what was going on.

And occasionally, Zuko or Iroh would come in. Zuko would yell about something, and Iroh would tell me that watching too much TV would be bad for my eyes.
