I can practically hear you screaming at the page, "WHO IS SHE!?!?!?" None other than my secret girlfriend, Dawn. We have been dating for 2 years, without anyone else knowing. You see, I was a lower social caste than her, I was a five and she was a four. If we ended up getting married, she would have to move down a caste. We didn't care though, we were in love. We lean in towards each other, and kiss. This is how it's been for a while. Me and Dawn meeting in secret. The kiss was soft, my lips pressed against hers. It felt magical. She pulls away after a while. "So, how's my favorite loser been?" She asked. "Eh, not good." I replied sadly. "Why not?" Dawn looked at me with genuine concern. "Well, as you know The Selection is coming up, and I'm eligible to be in it. The thing is, I don't even want to marry the princess, I want to marry you!" Dawn began to blush. "I could also never even rule our country. I have horrible government skills." "That sucks." Dawn said sympathetically. "I am going to sign up for it though, because my mom promised that I could keep half of whatever I make if I sign the stupid form." Dawn nodded. "I think it's a good opportunity for your family though, Adam. If you get chosen to be one of the princess's, uh, boyfriends, your family does receive a lot of money for you participating." "I know." I sighed. I must be looking really selfish at the moment. Dawn suddenly hugs me. "Join The Selection." She whispers holding me tight. "W-well I am anyway." I stuttered. "Thanks you." She whispered, letting go. Whoops, I totally forgot to tell you about Dawn's family didn't I? Dawn has two older siblings, Peter and Matthew. They're twins, identical to be exact. Dawn's mother died when she was really young. That was tough on her family, but they still do just fine. They all work in a factory, and get paid well. Dawn looked around suddenly. "I have to go." She whispered. It felt like we had just spent a few minutes. "Alright." I whispered kissing her once more." "Before I go, will you sing to me?" She asked, her green and blue eyes shinning in the moonlight. "Of course." I smiled, and sang to her. This is how we end every night, with me singing something to help her sleep. After I finished, we kiss again, climb out of the tree house, and sneak back home in the sliver of moonlight shinning down.
