I ran blindly through a maze of halls and corridors, ignoring the fighting going on beside me. It seemed the guards didn't notice me either. I had to find Alesa, before a rebel gets her. I guess I haven't done much explaining on the rebels. They're a group of people who hate our country pretty much, and they do their best to disrupt or destroy it. No one knows why, except for the rebels themselves of course. Where could Alesa be?!? I turned corner after corner, then stopped at a horrifying sight. There was a single rebel, threatening Alesa, while Alesa was vibrating with terror. "Alrighty Princess, I want it, now!" "Wha-wh-what do you want!?!?" Alesa yelled. I couldn't see the rebels facial expressions, but you could practically feel him smile. "We're looking for something. Something very imp-" He didn't finish his sentence. I ran and tackled him before he could do anything. "What the?" He said, as I knocked him out with a blow to the head. I got up quickly and looked at Alesa. "Did he hurt you?!" I asked urgently. "I couldn't tell what he wanted he was threatening me ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmyg-" "I asked if you were hurt!" I interrupted forcefully. Alesa looked at me. "I'm not hurt she said." I ran and hugged her, feeling tears flow from my eyes. "Are-are you crying Adam?" "I didn't want my closest friend here to get hurt." I whispered. Alesa smiled. "You're an idiot, doing that you know. You should've gone to the safe room. You shouldn't have come for me." "Well I did." I retorted. "Speaking of which, aha where's the safe room?" Alesa snorted. "There's a secret tunnel around here leading to it, let me find it first." We walked around for a bit, terrified we would be found, and we eventually came to a janitors closet. "This is it." She said, opening the door. I looked in. All there was were cleaning supplies and a bucket. "If this is some sort of sick joke, you won't have to worry about the rebels killing you, because I will." "Man, you really are bad at this whole "friendship thing" aren't you?" Alesa grinned, as she moved the bucket to reveal a hole. "Ah." I said, jumping down. We hid the hole again, and started following the tunnel. "Man, my dad is going to kill me." Alesa voice cracked. "He'll mostly just be glad you're safe." I pointed out. "Yeah, I guess." She replied uncertainly. We came to the end of the tunnel, which had a revolving door leading to the safe room. If I hadn't been so scared and worried, I would've laughed at everyone's face when we came in. Jason's jaw jumped to the floor. Mitch and Ty looked ecstatic that we were safe. A small gasp escaped from Queen Ashleigh and King Luke, who came rushing over to embrace their daughter. There were a bunch of "I love you's" shared between the family, then King Luke turned to me angrily. He took a threatening step forward towards me. "And as for you, Mister Dalhberg, you are going to be eliminated immediately, for leaving while we were going to the safe room!" I stepped back nervously. What? After all of this... I was eliminated. I turned around to see the crestfallen faces of Mitch and Ty. Oh no... I... I was eliminated. After all of this... This is how it ends.
