Chapter 14

I didn't wake up to the sound of my maids coming in, I woke up to the light filtering in through the curtains, as Mango gently pulled them back. Ashley came beside my bed. "Sir Adam." She whispered. "It's time to get up." "Noooooooo." I moaned, burying my face into my pillow. They giggled, which made me kinda smile too. I got up, stretched, and yawned loudly. I showered, and then my maids helped me dressed, which was kind of strange. But hey, gotta look nice for "my first meeting with Princess Alesa". Yeah.... Let's call it that. I was dressed in a grey suit with a dark red tie. My shoes were the blackest black you could ever see. My maids fixed up my hair with some hair gel, and made me smell like Lavender. I was ready for the day. I guess. My maids instructed me to go wait outside the dining room, where everyone else would be. So I walked down the hallway, glancing around everywhere and taking in my surroundings. Everything was pretty nice. I was one of the first guys to arrive. Seto, Jason, and some other guys I didn't recognize we're already waiting. "Morning, Adam!" Seto squeaked. Wow, his voice was high pitched. "Morning, Seto!" I gave him a nod. At least he was being friendly, everyone else was just glaring at each other hostilely. Since we were meeting Princess Alesa this morning, (well I met her last night haha) everyone was on edge. Two guys noticed they were wearing similar clothes, and even ended up changing. Everything was tough. Jason came down near to last, and I swear he was wearing make-up. Yeah, I'm not going to question it. Anyway, once everyone got ready, Victoria grabbed us and brought us to The Great Room for some reason. She turned around to us. "Everyone, I know you are hungry, but before you eat you will each get to meet with Princess Alesa for 5 minutes, so she can get to know you." There were small grumbles and complains, but no one objected, as Victoria brought us into The Great Room. There were couches and chairs for us to sit on while we waited for our turn to talk to a Princess Alesa. She wasn't in the room quite yet, but Victoria assured us she would be here soon. I found Mitch and Kyle, and we all met and sat down together. When we were about to sit down, Princess Alesa came walking in. She was wearing a fluffy red dress, with a tiara and glass heels. Ouch, I've got sympathy for her. She walked in sheepishly, looking around at all the guys. Then, our eyes met. I winced, expecting her to call me out, but all she did was smile and wink at me. I covered a laugh with a cough. I expected her attitude towards me to be a little more... You know.. Rude. Princess Alesa walked to the front of the room. "Hello everyone! I'm assuming you all know, I'm Princess Alesa! And I guess I'm technically all your girlfriend for a bit, so yeah. I need to get to know all of you lovely people. Don't worry, I will not take too long, I know you are all as hungry as I am! So yeah, let's get started with the first guy. Oh yeah, and please be patient with me, I'm kinda slow with names!" She went to Steve, and brought him to her personal couch, where everyone would be interviewed by her. I started to sweat. There were people, and cameras everywhere. If I messed this up, not only would I be sent home, but I'd make an embarrassment of myself. I better tread carefully, because I'm walking on thin ice right now.
