Voicemail sent on 18 February 2012 at 1:09 p.m.
"Hey Steve. You remember our first date? You know how I'm the romantic type and you literally went out of your way to make sure our date was anything but romantic. You made really inappropriate jokes and you wouldn't buy me any flowers. You showed up at my house wearing a Beyoncé T-shirt when you knew how my parents felt about singers."
She laughed and I found myself smiling at her melodic voice. It was a bittersweet moment. For both of us.
"But I wouldn't have you any other way. I was just going through our old photos that it reminded me of the times we shared together. I wish you were here to see them with me. You'd probably want to delete the one I was looking at recently because your eyes are half closed and your mouth is wide open."
She chuckled and sniffed.
"I don't even remember when I took that. I'm sorry..."
