Marie's Pov
"Thanks." I said to matt getting out. "If you need me call me." he said. I nodded and walked to the house door. I sighed and opened it. "UGHHH!" I heard nash yell. I put my stuff down and walked slowly upstairs. I opened my bed room and saw Hayli riding my so called boyfriend. they didn't notice me. my mouth dropped open. I closed the door. It was like everything was in slow motion. I walked slowly. I felt like I was gonna fall over. the bad part was. I didn't feel sad or mad. I didn't know what I was feeling. I walked down stairs. I felt dizzy. why did he do this. why am I relived. I grabbed my phone and walked out of the house. I walked down the street. no emotions. maybe I'm just used to heartbreak I've gotten used to the feeling. but that wasn't it. I didn't feel anything. I was fine. I tried to scream when I felt someone pull me into their arms. but I felt safe. "I knew this would happen." the person said. "Thank you matt." I said hugging him. "Come on." he said bringing me to his car. we got in and drove off.
*9 minutes later*
we pulled into a house. I didn't know who's house tho. "This is my house." he said reading my mind. I nodded and we got out and walked in. the house was nice. the lights were dimmed and It looked great. "Woah." I said. he laughed. "Thanks." he said throwing his keys on the couch. I just stood there. "Come upstairs when you zone back into the real world." he said laughing and walking upstairs. I laughed and walked behind him.
when I got upstairs matt walked out of the bathroom shirtless with wet hair."Woah." I mumbled. he laughed. "Thanks again." he said. I blushed and looked down. he walked into his bedroom and I followed. he sat down. I sat down next to him. I looked down at his scars. "Matt why?" I asked picking up his arm and rubbing my finer over the cuts. "I hurt you. I couldn't live with myself. this was the escape." he said. I kissed his cuts. "You kept me strong. you were so strong." I said. "You don't get it. I was strong because of you. you made me strong. you were well are the love of my life and I lost you. I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror." he said looking up and into my eyes. "Matt. I'm so sorry." I said crying and pulling him into a hug. "I made my decision." I said letting go of him. "What do you mean?" he asked. "after we kissed, When I walked in on nash and Hayli I didn't feel anything. when we kissed I felt something that I've never felt with nash. it was way stronger. Nash was just a way to get you off my mind. but I can't." I said to him truthfully. he looked down. "Matt. I love you." I said. he looked up. "I'm bad for you Marie What if I hurt you?" he asked. "Well guess what. that's the risk im gonna take because I love you. I love you. The matthew Espinosa. not nash Grier. matthew Espinosa." I said looking directly in his eyes. "Marie I-" I cut him off by smashing our lips together. "It's a risk I'm willing to take." I said. "I love you." he said kissing me. I wrapped my hands around his neck kissing him back. he layed me down and kissed my neck. he brought his lips back up to mine. he broke the kiss. "I've missed you baby." he said smiling. "I've missed you too." I said kissing him. I broke it and he layed next to me. wrapping his arm around my stomach and bringing me close to his chest. he nuzzled his head into my neck and mumbled,"My girl." I smiled and fell asleep next to the true love of my life.
*30 minutes later*
I woke up to hear too people screaming at each other. matt was no longer next to me. I got up and ran downstairs. "SHES NASHS GIRLFRIEND NOW YOU FUCKING DICK!" a girl yelled. "THEN WHY DID HE CHEAT ON HER!?" I heard matt yell back. I walked closer to the yelling and saw the one person I thought I would never see again.
Taylor.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her. "Why are you here. aren't you with nash?!" she asked fairly loudly. matt butted in. "Don't talk to her like that." he said to her. "All those things everyone was saying about you are true. your such a fucking slut how can you do this to nash?" she asked. that hurt. "I don't know what Nash told you, but the reason I'm here is because I walked in on some slut having sex with him?" I asked her. "Don't make excuses. your the one that's cheating on him with matt." she said. I laughed. "Listen nash cheated on me. believe what you want but that's the fucking truth. I'm not Nashs girlfriend anymore. I'm matts. If you have anything to say about that go take it to your wash out bestfriend nash. have a nice life bitch." I said pushing her out of the house and slamming the door in her face. "That was hot." Matt said. I turned around,"Thanks." I said. "So your my girlfriend now?" he asked smirking. I nodded smiling. "I don't recall asking anyone out." he said smirking. "Well you should do that." I said. "Okay I'll go call Hayli." he said. "Bitch." I said mad he started laughing. "Marie Rae Hudson." he got on one knee. "Would you do me the honor of being my lovely girlfriend." he said smiling. I nodded. he jumped up and kissed me. "I've missed you baby." he said. "I've missed you more." I said nuzzling my head in his chest. "I love you." I said. "I love you too baby girl." he said kissing my head.
