Marie's Pov
"They didn't make it . I'm so sorry . I'll leave you guys to talk ." the doctor said leaving the room. my heart broke . Matt grabbed my hand and kissed it . "Baby." he whispered. a tear left his eye and landed on my hand . I looked over to him and another year left his eye . he looked at me and I say the hurt in his eyes . he quickly looked away and got up walking out the door closing it behind him . I sighed wiping the tear that fell upon my cheek .
Matts Pov
I walked out of the room , I couldn't let Marie see me cry . i needed to be strong for her but it was becoming hard . I loved her so much and I wanted a family with her . my two little babies . gone . I wiped my tear stained cheeks and walked back into the room to see Marie looking down quietly sobbing . I walked over to her and sat down next to her on the bed . I payed down and she put her head on my chest . I started stroking her hair kissing her head . "It's gonna be okay baby." I said to her . she looked up to me with her beautiful brown eyes . I admired her features . her beautiful cheeks that were red from crying . her beautiful mesmerizing eyes , still watery like she still needed to cry . her long brown hair messy and strands of it in her face . her lips parted lightly as she spoke the three words that made my whole world light up. "I love you." I looked at her lips then back into her eyes . I grabbed her chin lightly and brought her lips to mine . colliding our lips together feeling the same spark I've always felt every time we kiss . we pulled apart . "I love you too." I whispered back .

Marie's Pov
I sat in the passenger side of matts car listening to the music blaring three the speakers . drake , know your self was on . I looked to my side seeing Matt with one hand on the wheel the other on my thigh , lip singing along to the song . his hair was messy and he was wearing a white tee shirt with black jeans . he could do the simplest things and still look hot . I licked my lips . I turned my head facing the road . closing my eyes . craving matts touch . I heard Matt chuckle . I turned to him . "What?" I asked smiling . "Remember when we first met?" he asked . I looked back at the road nodding . "We were like in 7th grade ." I said chuckling . "I remember it exactly . you were in a blue long sleeve shirt with sweat pants and your hair in a messy bun walking down our middle school hallway with the biggest smile on your face . you were at your locker and dropped your book and I came up and picked it up for you . I can remember you turning to me with the most beautiful smile in your face , braces and all ." he smiled even bigger . I chuckled . "Throw back to when I was a nerd ." I said smiling looking at Matt . he smiled at the road . "You were my best friend until high school . I never thought it would end up like this . but I'm so glad it did . I love you Marie ." he said . "I love you to Matthew." I said smiling even wider . he has such an amazing effect on me . this day was the worst yet he made it better . I'm so thankful for him .
