Marie's Pov
I woke up and Matt was gone but there was a note on the table.
"Left because we had school today.xoxo
-Matt"
I smiled at the note. and got up to get ready. I walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower. when I was done I hopped out and straighten my hair. when I was done I walked to my closet and put on a light pink crop top that had big bolded words on the front that said, LIVE, and some high waisted black shorts with black Jordan's. I put on light make up and headed out the door.
*at school*
I walked in and walked down the hallways by myself as usual. I couldn't find Matt so I just decided to walk to first period. I walked to my seat in the back and sat down. the whole class piled in and I saw a new girl that looked really lost. she looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back and she started walking over. she sat best to me and said,"Hey. My names Taylor. What's yours?" I smiled and said,"My names Marie. So are you new?" "Yeah i transferred from Kentucky so you can say I came a long way." she said smiling back. "Oh well I hope that we get to hang out." she smiled again and said."Yeah. today after school want to go to the mall?" I nodded and said,"Yeah I heard their having a sale at body central so we can get stuff from there." she smiled and said,"Great see ya then." I nodded and we both turned to look forward to listen to the stupid lesson we were being taught.
*after class*
Me and Taylor walked down the hall to our next class and I saw Matt he was with his friends. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.he turned around and I said,"Hey Matt."with I big smile on my face. his smile faded and he looked around at his friends that were now staring at us. "Um hi. Marie right." he said acting like he was confused. "What?" I said on the verge of crying. "I thought we had something special." "Me and you never had something. I don't even recall hanging out with you." he said with a chuckle. I knew he didn't mean these things but at the same time I did. "I knew you were just another prick." after I said that I ran to the bathroom
as quickly as I could and slammed the stall door shut. then I broke down. I was sobbing harder than I have ever before. "WHY ME?" I screamed sobbing harder. I took my blade out of my bag and sliced 8 perfect slices down my arm. I started crying even harder and louder. someone was bagging on the stall and yelling my name,"MARIE!!" I just kept sobbing until the door was kicked open by Taylor she rushed over to me and said,"Tell me what's going on." I nodded and calmed down and said,"His name is Matt. I have home everything. even my Virginity. he even said he loved me." I said crying even harder than before. Taylor rubbed my back in circles and when she saw my arm she grabbed some paper towels, got them wet and placed them on my wrist. she kept them there until the bleeding stopped.she stood up and said,"come with me." I nodded and got up. she grabbed my hand and we walked somewhere. I looked up to see that we were walking to Matt. I was about to run before Taylor yelled,"AYE SON OF A BITCH." he turned around and she slapped him hard in the face. I was in shock and so was every one around us. "YOU THINK LYING IS COOL YOU FUCKING PUSSY?" she lifted up my arm so that he could see,"WAS THAT LIE WORTH IT DUMB ASS? SHE WHAT YOU FUCKING DID?" Matt looked at me with sympathy but I looked away. Taylor let go of me grabbed matts collar and slammed him into the locker. "DONT ACT LIKE YOUR SORRY NOW MOTHER FUCKER." I was in pure shock. I pulled Taylor off of him and said,"He's not worth your time." she looked at me then back at Matt. she slapped him again but harder. "don't fucking come near her or you'll be sorry." after she said that she grabbed my hand and we left the school.
