Promise

"Everyone move!" Levi yells and not a single one of us wasted time on admiring the monster that had just appeared and smashed through an entire tree trying to grasp at Eren.

"Holy shit" shouts Gunther, "how the hell are we supposed to pull evasive manoeuvres in here!".

"It's catching up!" Eld looks at the Titan in the eyes whilst remaining focused on his own position.

"Captain! Engage the ODM gear?!" Yells Petra seemingly confused and worried for Levi's silence on the whole situation.

From the back we see two soldiers, the rear reinforcements, move in to try and fight the female Titan. It only served to show how powerful she was, she grabbed one of their grapples and pulled him next to her and slammed him into a tree, killing him instantly. For the other she once again pulled on the grapple forcing him into her hand where she crushed her fist squashing all he was to oblivion, all right before disposing of him by tossing him aside and continuing her chase. Erens eyes went wide with the true realisation of this threat, seeing two soldiers killed off so easily.

"Captain! Your orders!?" Petra once again demands, being more frantic by the second with Levi's silence.

"It's dangerous! Let's take it out!" Shouts Ouro clutching his blades at the ready, "tell us to engage sir!".

Eld wasted no time, he pulled out his swords, "I'll cut the bitch down".

This seemed to have given Eren a boost in morale, as good as morale can get in this situation. You look over to see him having a smug smile towards the female Titan. All Eren's life he had admired the scouts, believing they were the strongest out there, which by no means is an understatement....but compared to what they currently faced against, they were severely outmatched. That much was clear to you.

"CAPTAIN WE NEED YOUR ORDERS SIR!" Screams Petra, as well as Ouro also asking for permission to fight the threat at hand. Levi's silence was starting to unsettle even you. You understand that their main objective may be to capture her, but more and more soldiers would keep coming, only to be slaughtered. If anyone would be able to take her on with a chancel winning, it'd be the captain, you, Mikasa and you couldn't leave out Eren as a full 15 metre Titan. You hadn't seen the Levi squad in action to fully grasp what they are capable of.

"That's the whole reason we are here? Right sir?" Asks Eld with a pleading look on his face, he thinks they were in here to kill the female Titan, Levi's constant silence only furthered your own point, that killing her wasn't the plan. Capturing her was.

Levi finally turns to face us, pulling out a flare gun, "everyone, cover your ears".

We all did as he commanded as he shot out a an acoustic round. Even with our ears covered, you could still hear the ringing like it was bouncing around your brain.

"Remind me, what is our mission? Is it to simply act on impulse in the heat of the moment....Let me answer that question for you....it's not" it still baffled you that he used an acoustic shell to gain their attention and command effectively, but that's Levi for you, " The squad's mission is to keep this brat alive no matter the cost...don't forget it".

I'm that moment, it seemed that Gunther, Eld, Petra and Ouro all understood and remained as calm as they were before the female Titan had attacked. Eren and even you admittedly were still uneasy. Eren most likely because he had no idea what the plan was and he was seeing the soldiers die directly behind him. For you it was the fact that the soldiers were dying for just a capture. It didn't seem worth it.

"We push forward on horse back, is that clear?" Levi asks still looking forward away from the looming threat behind you all.

"As a bell sir" Petra had calmed down and was now in full focus, but Eren couldn't hold back his questions for the situation.
