You grappled onto one of the clock towers pulling you up giving you a good view of the city.
One 15m titan and two 10m titans, like lambs to the slaughter.
You used a good amount of your gas to launch yourself at the 15m titan, it reached its hand out to grab you but you slipped through it's fingers and sliced all the way up its arm to its nape finishing it.
Before it fell you jumped of its head onto one of the buildings looking down at the 10m titans.
You were about to jump and attack them until you saw a blur fly past killing them both of the 10m titans.
Mikasa.
She grappled up to were you was
"So how many have you killed?"You say smiling
"This isn't the time for jokes there is a problem at the gate near the wall come and help me fix it"she asked
"Why not my schedule is pretty empty" you said winking
You both made your way to the gate eradicating any titans in your path, once you landed with a squad near the gate an abnormal titan began to burst through buildings heading straight towards townsfolk and a massive cart blocking the door way.
This was bad
If that titan made it to the gate it would be a slaughterhouse.
Before any of us reacted mikasa flew past us and attached to the nape of the titan before slicing its nape clean off as if it were never there.
I flew over to her and landed on the titan she had killed. There was a cart full on food and gold inside of it blocking the gate for people to leave through, damm arrogant piece of shit wanting his money instead of saving the lives of hundreds of innocent people.
"What's going on here?" Mikasa asks
"Ah finally a soldier"said the fat man presumably the one who owned the cart"tell these people to back off so my wagon can get through and help me push it"he rambled.
You walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder, "so your telling me that for the soldiers that have had to die is because you can't let people past your damm cart" you say staring him right in the eye.
"Yes and they are doing a fine job at that, they get paid for it after all" he replied
That's it. "Listen pal I've had enough of your bullshit move this wagon, NOW" you say
"Do as he says" mikasa says drawing a sword near is neck scaring the life out of him.
"M-m-move the cart men" he says reluctantly, you turn to mikasa and she says "let's head back to our squad for now, this plan might actually work" you check your gas. Not good. "You go on ahead imma go reload my gas, I'm low"
"Alright fine but come right back to me"she says before grappling away.
You head to the nearest gas area.HQ.
Oh no.
It was swarming with titans, to many to count, you decided it was best just to regroup and see how everyone was doing and inform them of what was happening.
Sticking to the roof tops and only grappling when needed you found mikasa holding Armins hand along with the rest of your squad and other squads.
Wait. Wasn't Armin with erens squad. Where is he?
Armin was crying, as you walked over to them he looked at you and gritted his teeth holding his head down, something wasn't right.
"Sup Armin, you ok?"you say.
Silence...
"Say weren't you with Eren?"you ask checking if what you thought was right or not.
Once again he winced and you see a tear drop from his eye, oh no.
"Our unit...the 34th cadet unit...Thomas Wagner...Nic Tius...Myluss zeramuski...Mina Caroline...Eren Yeager...all five of them have fulfilled their duty and died heroic deaths on the battle. Mikasa, (y/n) im sorry eren died in my place"
