Your all in a room and it's early dawn with the sun just peering through the one open window, you had heard news of a expedition that you were going to start in a few days. Eren had been trying to master his ability but he ended up failing the first experiment as he couldn't transform. However when you all were sat down at the table he went to pick up a spoon and transformed right there and then. Everyone was confused why, but you knew it was because he needed a goal in mind, it didn't take long for hänge the lead scientists on the subject to figured that out.

Now though Erwin had a plan to take Eren on a expedition, you didn't really get the logic behind it but you didn't really have a choice wether you wanted to go or not.

Apart from you and eren, the rest of the cadet corp had chosen which place they wanted to join and you were happy to see mikasa, Armin, reiner, Jean, Conny, Ymir, Christa, Sasha and bertholt all come to the scouts.

Upon seeing them all you and eren both went wide eyed as they all came and ran up to you. Mikasa was checking to see if eren was ok and how they treated him at the scout regiment before turning to you seeing if you took care of him, in which you just shrugged saying "meh, kinda, he handled himself pretty well I guess".

She sighed in relief letting you both finally interact with the rest of your friends.

It was a day before the expedition and conveniently your day off from the scouts. Most people such as Jean and Conny had just stayed in their dorm and others had been in the training area like mikasa, eren and Reiner. Armin was also there but just read a Book while the others worked out.

You however had vanished all the way to the Stohess district near the military police. You just needed to clear your head before going on your first expedition, plus you didn't really need to do more training with the exercise Levi had put you through. It's now undecided who is better and stronger now.

As you was walking down the street near the river you heard someone shout from a boat going across. "Thanks for taking care of it Annie!" It was a grey haired woman who was all dressed up, around the same age as you, but that wasn't what caught your eye, it was the person she was speaking to.

Annie leonhart. One of the 104th cadets and now part of the military police. She was quiet but strong, her and mikasa would give you a run for your money when it came to sparring. So in a way you respected her.

She was walking your way.

"Yo! Leonhart" you shouted waving your hand. She had a sudden expression of surprise before reverting to her normal low key look. "(Y/n)? What are you doing here?" She asks walking up to you. "Just figured I'd get a breather away from the scouts, what are you up to?"

"nothing much" she said shrugging and looking away. "Well that's a lie, your friend on that boat seems to think otherwise, plus your wearing your uniform on a day were we are off" you exclaimed crossing your arms.

She let out a large sigh before pulling a piece of paper from out of her jacket and showing it to you. You read it carefully inspecting every sentence. "Huh, Carley Stratmann, she's gone missing. Let me guess your out to look for her?" You say with one eyebrow raised.

"Correct, just owing someone a favour" Annie replies putting the paper back into her jacket pocket. A small grin forms on your face. "Need any help?" You say smiling.

"I'll be just fine on my own" Annie states walking past you. "Aww come on Annie, this is the break I need. I've had too much titan work, but a little investigation will spice things up again"

She stops for a few seconds and finally gives in. She responded quickly with a short "fine".

You quickly jog up beside her and ask where she was heading, annie bluntly explains that she was heading to Elliot Stratmanns mansion to ask questions about his daughter to find clues.
