Not even an hour after meeting Samantha, me, her, and Ivan were in the Mobian hospital, not that any of us were actually hurt or nothing. It was to see my new son, and to keep tabs on good old Spike, who was still conked out from the medicine they've been giving him. I had sat next to Emma's hospital bed and held my son as she was trying to rest herself up.

Samantha herself wasn't that bad either. Just a couple of easily-hidden scars, a bruise right in between her shimmering blue eyes, and when I say she's built, I fucking mean it. She's got some strength to her, and I should know. She punched me right on the shoulder not fifteen minutes ago because of a joke I meant, and it hurt. And her dark brown hair with the maroon highlights definitely give me the usual "I'm a bad girl, fear me" vibes.

Sam: Look at my little bro, has a son of his own. You still have to name him.

Me: Okay, we'll name this half Marlin JR. and this half Coral JR. Okay we're done.

Sam: Be serious for once in your life. Pick an ACTUAL name, Jacob. No joking about, he's your son.

Me: I know. I know. What about... AJ?

Sam: What's that stand for?

Me: I don't fucking know, Aaron Jacob?

Sam: Aaron, huh? I think it suits him perfectly. Aaron Jacob the Jackling?

Me: I think just Aaron Jacob.

Sam: I mean it's fine, but your first name, too?

Me: Then again maybe not. How about... William?

Sam: I don't think he's a William, especially not Shakespeare. How about Mason?

Me: Mason might work. I wonder what Emma would think of Mason Taylor.

Emma: Jacob, I think it's perfect for him. I always wanted a brother named Mason, but I got Zero. Both names are badass.

Sam: Now now. Don't swear around the kid.

Me: If it slips off the tongue accidentally, it's acceptable by me. I'd you're just swearing Willy-nilly, then we're gonna have problems. Mason, welcome to the world.

There was a soft knock on the doorframe that led out to the hall, and I perked my head up and looked over. There, Zero had made his way into the room and fell down into the chair next to Sam. She blushed a bit, but I could tell she was hiding it strongly.

Zero: How's my favorite boys doing?

Me: Zero, now don't be acting so oblivious. What's new with you?

Zero: Well, Spike's doing well. How's the kid?

Me: Looks just like you. I bet he'd be more like his mother at heart.

Emma: Jacob, don't say anything about it.

Me: What? I mean I hope he acts kind and soft-hearted, keeping family first. And I hope he acts just like his Uncle Zero when he's protecting us.

Zero: Uncle?

Me: Yeah. Brother of the kid's mother is an uncle.

Sam: That would make me an aunt then... "Uncle Zero."

Zero: Yeah, I think I'll keep the Uncle.

Emma: So is his last name going to be Walker, or did you accept that it's going to be Taylor, whether you like it or not?

Me: Sweetheart, he's my son. I wouldn't name him anything you wouldn't want it to be.

Emma: I just said that I'm alright with the name.
