It was late in the evening, and me and Amy were standing at the gates to West End Cemetery, the place where the entire Jackal squad is buried. Except for Infinite. He was the only one to be alive. Poor bastard. All he wanted was hope for his sister to be alive, but she wasn't, and now, he's who he is now.

Me: Is it bad that I feel bad for Infinite? I mean, he lost not only his friends, but his sister, too. All in one day. He changed so much since then. Now, he's out for the blood of Shadow.

Amy: Is bet that it's not as bad as you think. If you bring his squad back, then he might actually be calmer. Settled.

Me: Well, it's not as easy as it looks. He finds out I didn't kill my quota, he kills my girl.

Amy: Well... maybe he'll understand that you didn't do that because you wanted to bring his squad back to him?

Me: (sarcastically) Yeah. Like he'll let me go with that.

Amy: I'm serious. He misses his sister a bunch, so if you bring her back, he'll feel better.

Me: You're not understanding what I'm saying. He WANTS me to kill my quota, and if I DON'T, he'll kill my girl. I think after that, he'll come after ME. This won't change anything.

Amy: Well, at least you tried?

Me: I didn't try yet. Let's just get this shit over with and HOPE for the best.

I grabbed the bars of the gate and tried to pull them open, but they could barely budge. I looked at where the handles were and saw that there was a padlock on it.

Me: Dammit. Locked.

Amy: I thought that Inklings could slip through grates.

Me: I meant to bring you with in case I needed help. But... hang on.

I pulled my tail around me and used it to shift into a liquid and solidify in the lock. I twisted it, and the lock came right off. I pulled my tail out of the lock and repositioned it behind me. I took the lock off of the gate and pushed the gate wide open.

Me: I'm getting chills running down my non-existent spine.

Amy: I'm getting chills down my EXISTENT one. Now, which grave is it?

Me: Well, if I were burying her, I'd either bury her with her family, or bury her with the squad. I don't know much about Zero OR Emma. I have no idea what their family was like, and I don't know if they have a Jackal plot here.

Amy: I don't know how they organize graveyards.

???: You darn kids better get going. Young whippersnappers like y'all should never be in a graveyard.

We both looked at wherever the voice was. An old, dark brown wolf with faded yellow eyes stood not three feet away from us. He had dusty overalls on, and had a shovel over his shoulder. I saw a name tag that said "Willis."

Me: Sorry for disturbing, but we really needed to get in here, sir.

Amy: Yeah. We need to find Emma Walker. The Jackal sister of Zero.

Willis: Well, you came to the right place. Just not the right time. I'm not allowing any visits past 8:00. But since you two are looking for a particular person, I'll let it slide. Now, Emma Walker is over on the East end of the plot. Her headstone is this emblem. It looks like a set of small rocks together. It was... from this one region called "Kalos," or whatever.

Me: Where are we? The Multiverse? Because that sounds like the Boulder Badge from Grant's gym. Trust me when I say I know my Pokémon knowledge.

Amy: Anything ELSE we should know about him?
