"Hey, I said I'm done, what are you looking at?" I came back to my senses when Ruby flicked my forehead. I glared at her, stepping in front of the machine, I grabbed one of the balls and shoots them in the basket.

"So who's that man in a coat you're staring at earlier?" She questioned. I shook my head without looking at her as I was focusing on the game.

"What's your score by the way?" I asked. Getting bored of the game. I waited for her answer but I didn't receive any.

"Ruby?" I called. Still. No answer.

I threw the ball harshly to the basket and turned to look at her. I was about to say something but stopped when I saw she was no longer beside me.

What the hell?

Where is she?

I remembered the man that I saw earlier. My eyes widened in panic at the thought of her following after him.

"Shit, " I cursed and sprinted out of the arcade.

I pulled out my phone and tracked her location. It's a good thing I put my jacket on her or else I wouldn't be able to find her.

I followed the red dot on my phone that leads to the elevator. I looked up to see the door closing. I speed up my run, trying to catch up to her. She couldn't see me running up to her with her back facing the outside.

"Fuck! " I cussed when the door closed already. I look up to see the sign that the elevator is going down to the basement.

Ruby's POV

I gasped when I saw Kai running in my direction while looking down at his phone. I immediately turned my back so he wouldn't see me.

Soon the door closed open following a big thump sound on it. It's probably Kai hitting it. I faced the door again and secretly took a glance at the man in a coat beside me.

He's suspicious.

*ting!*

The door opens and all the other people walk out and went to their cars, including the man. But then I saw him walked past the black car that I thought was his. I trailed behind him silently. Hiding behind the cars whenever he looks back.

I stopped when we reached the secluded area that has only one expensive car. I hid behind the white van and watched what he will do next.

His shoulders slowly went up and down as the sinister laugh starts to come out of his mouth. Crazy.

"Wait... That laugh is somewhat familiar..." I whispered. Where did the last time I hear that laugh again?

"You think I wouldn't know you following me? Come out now," he said, turning around, facing my direction.

I slowly moved out behind the vehicle. My heart beating faster as I slowly looked up. I frowned when he instantly disappeared from his spot. Where did he go?

In a blink of an eye, my head was smashed against the car window. I yelped in pain as I watched him crouch in front of me.

"You damn useless girl, you can't pass out yet, I'm not done playing you," he says, taking out a dagger from his pocket.

"I wouldn't know my job would be done this easily, thanks for following me here," he put the dagger up to his head, readying to stab me.

I closed my eyes to wait for the stab but seconds has passed nothing happened to me. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around to see nothing.

I quickly stood up despite the pounding pain on my head. I feel dizzy.
