"I want you to shut up and listen." Kai interrupts harshly, eyes glaring at her.

" I don't care if you're the daughter of the clan because as long as you live in our mansion, you're gonna do whatever I say and behave as I say. I had enough of your thick head and the troubles you have caused. And I swear to your God, I'm gonna kill you myself and would just tell your father I failed the mission--"

Ruby's face contorted at the memory with him earlier.

"He's such a scumbag... " She whispers.

A knock suddenly startled her. She stood up and walk to the door to open it. Her eyebrow raised when she saw Phoebe with Zack standing outside.

"She has to stay here, " Zack looks down at Phoebe and nods his head, signaling her to step inside the room.

Phoebe didn't hesitate to do what he just gestured. He's giving her that look again and it's making her cheeks flush.

"Why? " Ruby asks.

"She'll tell you," He said before closing the door.

Ruby clicks her tongue and rolls her eyes at the door. She turns around and was about to ask Phoebe but the girl puts up her hand to her face.

"Not now, I'm tired, " she says and settles down the bed.

"Geez, why is everyone so stingy? I just want answers.. " she mumbles.

Zack went to Kai's office. He didn't bother to knock and just let himself inside. He saw Kai flinched and slam the photo frame down.

"For fck's sake, can you at least knock before entering my place? "

"Don't raise your voice on me Kai, I could beat you up, " Zack says calmly.

"What happened to the living room?" He added.

"Raven and I fought, " Kai answers,

"You know, Daniel would be upset if he sees the mess. You guys better clean that up. " Zack said before leaving the room.

"Why are you here tho? " Kai asks that made Zack stop from leaving.

"I was about to discuss something with you but I forgot I also have to make up with Ruby, " he said.

"Make up with what? "

"I promised to go outside with her, " he says and completely left the room.

Kai furrowed his eyebrows. "What make up is he saying, why the hell are they going outside?"

His phone suddenly vibrates on the table. He looked it up and saw the caller ID.

He reaches for his phone only to turn down the volume and flip the screen on the desk. As the name of the caller sticks up to his mind, his heart started to change its pace. He's not sure if they won't find them. But hoping and praying doesn't hurt right?

But thing is, it's impossible to get out of their hands. They always find a way to capture the traitors.

Despite all that, no matter what happens, he will protect Ruby at all cost and get her away more farther from her father's grasp. It is not only because her mother orders him to. But because he's started to have those feelings again.
