"Is it heavy?" Zack went to Phoebe's side and asks.

"Yeah, but I can handle it. Don't worry.. " she said in assurance.

"Okay, If you say so. I'm going outside to carry the other luggages." He says and walks away.

The mansion has only two floors but big enough to look like a castle. The light brown wooden floors are squeaky clean and walls so white that you'll think you'll be gunned down for making a tiny bit of stain in smeared on it.

Phoebe quickly went inside her temporary room. She put her things on the floor and looks around to see how her room looks like. Everything looks so aestheticaly beautiful.. so clean and so refreshing. It also lifts up the mood as long as you stare at the designs on the wall.

But,

she's afraid that these walls will be smeared with blood later on..

'I wonder if I can get this kind of room of my own... Or maybe a mansion like this for my family,' Phoebe sighed.

Suddenly, inaudible shouts came from the outside of the window. She stride towards it and pulled the curtains to the side, revealing the once again, two big mouth duo. Ruby and Kai.

"There's no way I'm going to take all of your things to your room! Your mansion is too fucking big!" Ruby shouted to Kai's face.

"Oh well you lost the bet remember? I scored higher than you so shut your mouth and do what I said!" Kai backfires.

"Seriously? they always argue even for the smallest thing." Axel clicks his tongue and shook his head. He handed his shoulder bag to Raven who's already struggling with 3 bags all over him.

Even though Raven is already having a shoulder ache, he just took the heavy bag from Axel and closed the car. He couldn't complain to the older because he knows he's still mad at him from breaking his displays.

"What?! No, you cheated on the game!" Ruby denies but Kai ignores it. He just rolled his eyes and turns his back to walk away.

"HEY COMEBACK HERE!! ASSHOLE!" Ruby shouts on top of her lungs and sticks up her middle finger even though Kai can't see it. You can see her nostrils flaring from anger. She slap and kicks Kai's car out of anger before she pulls out their luggage.

"Are they always like that?" Daniel asks to Zack.

"Yeah, I suggest you to prepare your ears everyday," The taller from the other side of the car says. Zack shook his head at the duo's silly fight. He decided to disregard his own bags and help Ruby first. He walks up to her side and picks up Kai's luggage from the ground.

"let me help you," He says and walks away before Ruby could say  anything.

Phoebe's eyebrows knitted together without herself knowing. There is something unknown that she could not help but to feel it when she saw how Ruby smiled at the tall male when he help her to lift Kai's things. Is it jealousy?

Don't get her wrong. She doesn't hate Ruby for she knows that the two met since their childhood. But the thing is, only the 5 men remembers it.

"knock, knock," She snap her head towards the door to see Kai leaning on it.

She stared at him cluelessly, wondering why he is in front of her room. Phoebe blinked a couple of times and asks, "Uhm... what's up?" She says. Gulping when the male suddenly smirked at her. 

"Nothing. I just saw you looking  outside the window so I left Ruby on her own just to walk up to you," He says. Eyes showing a hint of glint, he slowly walks inside the room. Inviting himself without the female's consent.

"Ahh, about that? I just heard you two arguing so I looked out to see what it was," Phoebe says. She's trying her best to not make an eye contact with him.

Kai squints his eyes as he tilts his head, "Ahhh, my bad. I thought you were planning on telling your boss that we have arrived to the mansion,"

"Haha. I guess I'm wrong, right?" he chuckles.

Phoebe's eyes went wide from shock but quickly composed herself. "What? I don't know what you're talking about" she nervously says.

" I'm sure you do and I'm also sure you don't have an amnesia right?" He flashed a sinister smile and took steps towards her.

"I- I swear I don't know what you're talking about, Kai. I- i really d- don't k-know.. " Phoebe's heart hammered hard and fast as she backs away from him to avoid being cornered.

But Kai's legs are long enough to get infront of her.

"You know, I don't like it when people lie." He says

The night before they fled

After Kai have reminisced their horrible childhood. He now calls it a night and stood up from his swivel chair. He stretch his limbs first before tidying up the his things on the table.

Walking to the dark hallways with only the moon giving light on the way is Kai's routine before he sleeps. The traumas and pain from the past still haunts him every night— heck he never even gets a nice sleep since the day the Kenji clan brought him into their dark world.

"What now?! Do you need a fucking medal?" He suddenly heard a voice over the room where the girls are at.

Without a thought, Kai went to the door and leaned his ear close to hear the conversation clearly.

"No, about my freedom. Am I free now? What about my parents? You didn't kill them right?" He immediately recognized the voice.

"I didn't and you'll have your freedom when your plan works, " He couldn't cleary get what the other person on the call says but he already know what they're doing.

"Should've known.." he whispered and leaned away from the door.

Instead of going inside and killing Phoebe, he chose not to do it. He knows that Zack would stop him as he could see and recognize the silhouette not that far from him hiding in the dark corner.
