"You know I could kill you right here right now," Kai gave her a tight lipped smile.

" But I don't plan on ruining our rest. So be glad. " He walked out of the room.

Phoebe walks to her bed and sat, shaking. She took some deep breaths to calm herself before walking up to the door to close and lock it.

By the help of Zack, he and Ruby successfully put the bags on the floor. In Kai's bedroom.

Panting, Ruby turned to Zack, "Thank you for helping me, Zack. I appreciate it." She smiled. Zack reciprocated her smile and left with a small "you're welcome."

Ruby was also about to leave when Kai suddenly appears in the room with his eyebrows knitted.

'the fuck is wrong with him again?' Ruby thoughts.

"Put my clothes in the closet," he ordered and went to the bathroom.

"Should I just ignore what he said?" Ruby whispers. "Why am I doing this to an asshole again??" She asks herself as she starts to unpack Kai's things.

"Ahh right, I lost to a bet."

After tidying his things, she sat on his bed to take a rest. She roamed her eyes and spotted something on top of Kai's table. There is a picture frame resting on top. Unable to see the picture as it is faced towards the window. Curious, she stood up and walks to the table. As soon as she gets a hold on the frame she turns it around to see a 3 member family. Ruby instantly knew that she is in the picture by instantly recognizing her features in the little girl's face who was standing between her parents. She couldn't see her biological parent's faces as they were scratched off the picture.

Upon trying to remember her forgotten events in her childhood. Ruby flips the frame upside down with the intention of taking her family picture off of it. She didn't notice that the door of the bathroom opened, revealing Kai in his towel wrapped around his waist. Unable to sense the males presence. She jumped when she felt a cold sensation trickling behind her back. Following with two hands engulfing her sides, cornering her.

"What do think you're doing?" Kai asks, his cold breath tickling Ruby's ears.

The female turns around and saw Kai half naked. Hair dripping wet and eyes looking straight on her. Ruby will not deny the blush appearing on her skin as she felt hot  due to their close proximity. The steam from the cold shower emitting off his wet skin as it touches her sides.

She raised her eyebrow, "having my family picture on your desk is enough for me to know that you knew my biological parents," she stated, " So, where are they?" She looks up to him dead in the eye while Kai, well, still a nonchalant biatch.

"I don't know,"

" What?! The fuck are you saying?? Are you dumb-"

Kai placed his finger tips in Ruby's lips a little hard, "You're getting too loud again. I'm not going to tell you a traumatizing story. Besides, it's too long for me. You gotta know it by yourself." he deadpanned.

"Don't I deserve to hear it since you're making my life complicated ever since we met?!" Kai's face frowned and irritation starts to build up inside of him.

Offended and hurt, he took Ruby's wrist and tugged her towards the door. He pushed her outside and says, "I just wanna let you know that your father made my life way too much complicated than yours." He then shuts the door on her face before she could even respond.

"Oh dear, I'm not going to ask what happened," she looks to the side and saw Axel carrying a basket.

The male clicks his tongue, "Come on, let's go outside. We're going to have a picnic," he says and walked past her. She followed him.

"Although my legs are strong, it sucks to walk in this long ass corridors." He stated as they passed by Zack's room with its door slightly open.

"And this damn staircases too," he added as they took their first step on the stairs.

"You're right, so why none of you thought about installing an elevator?" Ruby asks.

"To be honest they've thought about I but stopped them 'cause it'll ruin the aesthetics of this coquette house," Axel answers then shrieks after Ruby pushed him off halway the stairs.

"You're such a moron!" She shouts.

Well, I'm just kidding. She didn't push him off the stairs. It's only in her psychotic mind, don't worry.

The two ended up in the garden then laid a blanket on the grass for them to sit on. "I dont remember the last time I did this," Axel says. His lips stretching into a smile as the light shines on his small face.

"How's your wound? Did the glass pieces entered? I'm sorry," concerned, Ruby checks his arms and saw the cuts healing.

"It's alright, they still sting when I bath," Axel shruggs, "Raven kisses them though," he giggles remembering the ticklish kisses that raven gave in his wounds.

"Landi amputa," Ruby says that took  the male off guard. "Did you just said a bad word on me in different language?" He raised his brow, glaring at her.

"Nope," she sent a mischievous smile then laid down beside the male to sun bath together.

"We're living our life in a roller coaster, when is this going to end?" Ruby closed her eyes as the bright rays hit her eyes.

"I don't know. Until we get to kill your father, I guess?" Axel responds and took his shades in his basket to lend it to Ruby.

"Why do you sound unserious?"

"I'm not,"

The female just stared at him as she regrets talking to this brunette.

"What would you feel if we killed your father?" Axel asked.

Ruby pursed her lips. Trying to imagine the scenario of them killing her father. Obviously, she wouldn't feel the sadness as she recalls how her foster parents were killed by his men. Plus, he's a cruel man searching for her daughter to steal the stupid heart for his own greed. By these factors, she will feel nothing but relief after the mission. She will just move on and continue her life living as a poor girl.

"I will feel nothing." She answered. Staring in the clear sky. She licked her lips and added, "I wouldn't get sad after finding out he's chasing us for this stupid heart of mine. I wish to get a heart donor to remove this. "

Axel smiled at her, "Don't worry, I'll help you find a donor and cover the expenses,"

The female looked at him in shock, " really? Thank you.." she smiled.

"Don't thank me yet. We're still in chaos." Axel replied.
