Gulf was sitting outside the doctor's office. He was anxious. Fingers were crossed. Closing his eyes he prayed.
Mewgulf were in a very good relationship. Both of his friends already had children by now. Gulf badly wanted to be fertile. He never spoke about this to Mew. He secretly decided to visit the doctor to know if there is any problem in him. Gulf was waiting for the results now.
The Doctor called Gulf into the office. Gulf occupied the chair opposite to the doctor.
“ Ok. Mr. Kanawut you need to take care of yourself now. It's really important. You are not allowed to do anything that requires a lot of energy. Got it? ” she asked.
Gulf could not understand anything. His heart beat fastened. He started to feel like he is about to hear something bad.“ Why is she even asking me to take care of myself? Am I really infertile?? Will I never be able to be Papa?? Oh no this can't happen. Mew won't be able to hear this.” These were the thoughts that were running in his mind. He still managed to gain some confidence to ask the doctor and hear it clearly from her that he is infertile.
“ Doctor I'm not understanding anything. Please tell me what is wrong with me. I'm ready to hear anything. ” said Gulf still crossing his fingers beneath the table.
“ Mr. Kanawut don't tell me you didn't know this??” said the doctor.
Gulf was confused to hell now. “What is this doctor exactly speaking about? Is she telling me that I should have known that am infertile by now? ”
“ I seriously don't know what you are speaking about doctor. ” Said Gulf. It could be seen on his face that he is confused to hell.
“ ok. Congratulations Mr. Kanawut. You are pregnant. ” said the doctor smiling brightly extending her hand for a shake.
Gulf could not believe what he had just heard. He was soo busy with the work and visiting his friends and theirs babies that he nearly forgot to observe his own body. Gulf's jaw dropped and he stayed like that for a moment. Then he shoke his hand and smiled brightly.
“ You are 3 weeks pregnant now. You need to take care of yourself Mr. Kanawut. I will prescribe few medicine for now. Visit me at the end of every month from now with your husband. ” said the doctor.
“ Thank you so much doctor . Thank you. ” said Gulf bending his head.
Gulf was on cloud nine. He could not stop smiling and wanted to inform Mew about this as soon as possible.
