 Jade POV

The rest of the day was tiring but so so fulfilling.

She stayed on the phone for hours after she reached home discussing with her aunt's family lawyer who she trusted greatly. She made Jack and Jack start a hashtag concerning all the video footage etc from the scene as they had the spotlight to bring major attention to the situation. Soon enough, it was trending number two on Twitter with young and old chiming in and it soon was able to get recognized by CNN.

She was sure the mayor will come out with some sort of press conference about the situation. The entire situation was just so surreal and overwhelming. She could imagine how the King's feel at the moment.

Having access to her mother's money and her father's bank account was so hefty he cared less about what was being taken from it. She murmured a word to his former bodyguard who adored her and basically grew with her and assigned him the task of finding the family and watching over them from afar.

She didn't know what else she could but this what she was doing. She knew for sure that if a trial came, she was testifying for the truth no matter the cost.

Her father called her numerous times probably to bash her about her decision but she refused to answer. She barely even lived with him now, she had was already in the works of being emancipated and she didn't want any parts of him unless it was his fucking funeral.

Beck soothed the kids and put them to bed shortly after they reached home. He hugged on her tightly as she made calls leading her to a warm bubbly bath and stripping her, helping her in and lighting some scented candles.

She adored scented candles.

She allowed the water to cool her spirit as she answered calls and made direct orders and figured out more to do while Beck kneeled behind her slowly massaging her hair with shampoo detangling and gently rubbing at her scalp.

She appreciated it so much. He always in the little moments did such caring things that no one had ever done for her, things she had never before seen done by anyone else around her. When all the calls had been made, she cried quietly accepting pretty kisses from Beck's lips along her face.

She was crying for the King's, for her mother, because of the love she received from Beck, the fact that she betrayed him so greatly, that fact that her kids now had trauma she had to deal with, the upcoming meetings she will with the teachers about what happened.

So so so much at a time to deal with, so many things she had to release from her spirit cause in her quiet moments they weighed her down.

"Come sit with me, Beck" He slips from behind her taking off his clothes and slipping into the water being drained and refilled with more warm, bubbly water.

"I-I want to say something and I don't want you to be quick to reach out to me and touch and console me. I want to say what I'm about taking accountability to put both our hearts at ease and just release this veil so we can fully move on. We could truly be happy without me thinking about it and losing my mind"

"Okay, Jadelyn. I would listen to you. I would feel you"

"I've always been an insecure girl. My mother was always so confident in herself and she ignited that flame in me when we danced and spoke our little language. When we went shopping, when we did girly things. She was such a pretty light so bright and beautiful and I was the mini version of her and I preened in that. I also had to realize that I was my father's child, I couldn't just ignore the traits he gave me. He made me feel weak, he made me feel submissive, he made me hide in the shadows and bend my breast to the ground for men. He let me fight, he carried me to business trips and made me kiss the shoes of his friends, made them look me over and call me baby girl, he slapped at my face when I squared my shoulders too high when I showed confidence in myself. He terrified me, kept me in fear.
