Beck had left early in the morning on important errands. He left breakfast in the oven for her and the girls and had prepared two bottles of milk for the boys and she blushed at this.

He was so caring. She didn't know what she had ever done to deserve a man so thoughtful not only to her but to the kids as well. Many of the guys doing the parent project put in later to no effort with the kids and PSA usually were given on the school's chat about this.
Beck had gone above and beyond throughout this entire project. Sometimes she would wake up at night to him in the girls' room reading them books so they go back to sleep or watching Disney movies with them. Usually once a week, one of the girls came into their room tapping his shoulder for a late night snack and he would get up and do it without complaints.
He truly was a blessing and deserved the world.
She got everyone ready, prepped their lunchkits, and sent them off to school. On her way back home, her phone chimed and it was Robbie checking up on her. They hadn't had a really deep conversation in weeks and she missed that so she called him over to her house.
Before he came, she quickly started on fried rice and baked barbecue chicken. When she had just put the chicken in the oven, her bell dinged and she hurried to it opening it to Robbie. He swept her up into his arms and they both shared a much needed hug.
"Ugh it's been so long" Robbie mumbled into her hair.
"It has" She agreed, "Come inside. What do you want to drink? Lemonade or Fruit Punch?"
"Lemonade please" She shared out two glasses of lemonade before ushering him to the backyard patio. They sat comfortably with each other just drinking lemonade and enjoying the cool day.
"I thought you were not talking to me because of me and Cats break up" Robbie muttered sadly.
"No! I would never, you both are my friends. I won't sop talking to any of us because of that. There was just a lot going on with me and Beck getting back together, the fallout with Tori then Tori and I got together, Andre woke up plus the kids. It was so much going on"
"Oh yeah I understand. A lot has happened especially in your life. How are you really?"
"I honestly should be asking you. I know you loved Cat so much. How have you been?"
"It's been hard honestly. I've been so lonely. Everyone in our group kinda has their person. Tori and Beck kinda go to you. Andre is not here to hang out with and Cat broke up with me to be with someone else. I feel like there's no one for me" He sniffled sadly.
She felt so bad. She hugged him tightly allowing him to cry on her shoulder. She hadn't realized how alone Robbie might feel all alone in their friend group. Plus he also found out about Cat's new relationship.
