Jade POV
It was the day before her birthday. Everyone around her was super excited about it, which made her kind of excited too. Usually, she didn't care for her birthday much but Beck would always do something heartwarming and sweet for her birthday that made the day worthwhile.
It was also the day her dad usually acknowledged her. They didn't have a relationship, especially after her mother's death but he would try to appear as a supportive father on Facebook with a long paragraph and he would send some money to her account.
The girls were so excited about her birthday and what she was going to do. She would see the girls in their room drawing pictures for her birthday and making bracelets with materials Beck had bought for them.
This year not only Beck was treating her birthday like a national holiday so was Tori.
"Babe! Time check!" She shouted from the bathroom as she quickly parted her hair and straightened the various sections. Early in the day, she had temporarily dyed her hair from the middle down the color blue. The girls had enjoyed themselves so much with it and it was great just sitting with them talking and teaching them how to dye her hair.
They had done amazing.
"10:40!" He called back. She had about 20 more minutes to get herself ready. Everyone was meeting up at her house. Robbie had already arrived and Tori and spent the night and was sitting on the counter beside her doing her makeup.
She had never met somebody ever who sat on the bathroom counter to do their makeup but as she watched on she wondered how she had never thought about it. It was so convenient and easier than standing for so long.

She finished one more section of her hair before oil-sheening it and running her hand through her scalp to ensure her roots were straight as well.
"All done" Tori stopped her eyeliner looking over at her with a bright smile. She turned her back swaying her hair a bit so Tori could check if everything had straightened well.
