As I walked out of the wardrobe trailer, back in my street clothes, Zane was unexpectedly waiting outside for me. I was happy to finally have a moment with him again without the cameras in our face, and the director telling us how to feel. I know how I want to feel, and how I feel right now, lustfully happy.
"What a day, huh?" Zane said to me.
I could tell that he was nervous for reasons I don't know, but secretly like the fact that he was. As I got to the bottom of the step, Zane held out his hand to help me down. As I was back on my own two feet with the ground beneath me, Zane kept his hand in mine; which I didn't mind.
"I think I deserve an Oscar with how good of a job I did today." I said jokingly.
I couldn't tell if the nervous laugh came from me or Zane, either way it happened.
