Lyrics:
Your fingertips across my skin
The palm trees swaying in the wind
Images
You sang me Spanish lullabies
The sweetest sadness in your eyes
Clever trick
Well, I never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me
Goodbye, my
ALMOST LOVER
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
ALMOST LOVERS
Always do
We walked along a crowded street
You took my hand and danced with me
Images
And when you left, you kissed my lips
You told me you would never, never forget
These images
Well, I'd never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me
Goodbye, my
ALMOST LOVER
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
ALMOST LOVERS
Always do
I cannot go to the ocean
I cannot drive the streets at night
I cannot wake up in the morning
Without you on my mind
So you're gone and I'm haunted
And I bet you are just fine
Did I make it that easy to walk right in and out
Of my life?
Goodbye, my
ALMOST LOVER
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
ALMOST LOVERS
Always do

I made my way back to the concert venue, it was a few minutes until the who started, and Zane refused to talk to me. It was more like he was avoiding me, I get it, he wanted to get amped for the show, and not be in a bad mood because of me. If he wasn't going out of his way to apologize, neither was I.
I wasn't in the best frame of mind to stand at a concert and pretend to be happy to be here, so I chose to watch backstage. I still wanted Zane to know that I support him, even though we had a make or break type of fight, so I acted sort of interested as I bobbed my head along to the music. It just wasn't the same, though.
At every show that I've been at, Zane and the band sang their cover of "Something To Believe In" by Parachute, except for this one. That was the song that Zane chose to open with at Kellan's wedding, because of when he first saw my tattoo, and he knew I would be the only one in the audience who knew the reason. He chose to sing it for me to win my heart, that song started this whole mess; but now that he took it off the setlist, I knew everything was all wrong between us.
I looked out into the crowd, and something actually made me smile since I got here tonight. There was a young girl holding a sign that said, 'I'm your #1, I've never been kissed, will you kiss me?' I didn't quite believe that she's never been kissed, because she looked to be about my age; and this isn't a Drew Barrymore movie. Either way, her sign was creative, and I hop she gets recognized. She looks like a girl James would go for, I wanted to scream at him to notice her sign.
As if I had actually yelled it out to him, when their last song was done playing, James noticed the girl with the sign. He called her up on stage, she was as happy as a clam. What surprised me the most, was that Zane, not James, put his arm around the doe eyed fan.
Zane proceeded to ask her name, which I don't care to remember, and he asked her who her favorite in the band was. Of course she said Zane, he had his arm around her. The doe eyed girl had the nerve to say that it would be a dream to be kissed by my boyfriend. She's acting like little miss innocent, but I will take this bitch down.
The crowd started changing, 'kiss her,' I would've joined in if it wasn't for the look Zane gave me. Right before he planted his lips that I only thought were for me, on the lucky fan girl, Zane turned back to look at me with a vengeful look. He smiled evilly like an unmasked villain, right before he turned away from me.
