Monaco x shy!reader

You were sitting on your couch-- in the house that you and your best friend Monique shared, playing flappy bird on your phone. Monique slammed the door to your house open and stormed into the room you were in. Monique took a deep breath and smiled slightly. You looked up from your phone.

"Umm.... Are you ok?...." You asked nervously.

"Yea. Why wouldn't I be?" Monique sighed.

"U-umm... No r-reason... Why don't we go outside and look at the stars...." You suggested. Monique nodded and took you hand as you walked out the door into the backyard.

"Wow! So pretty!" You could see all the stars outside, since you lived in a house pretty far away from the main part of the city. You blushed when you noticed how pretty Monique looked in the dim lighting.

"What? Is something wrong? Your face is all red. are you sick?" Monique put her hand on your forehead.

"N-no. I-I'm ok..." you lightly pushed her hand away, blushing. Monique sighed.

"That's good..." Monique smiled at you. "What's for dinner tonight?"

"tuna." You giggled lightly.

"not funny, _______. You know I'm against eating tuna!" Monique said angrily.

"I-I'm sorry! I-It was just a joke! please dont be mad!" you were almost about to cry, you hated it when Monique got mad at you.

Monique sighed. "I'm sorry _______......."

"I-I'm ok.... But I'm not sure you are..." You normally wouldn't have said anything, but you had to.

"Of course I'm ok-- I guess I can stop lying to you.... If you beat me at a game of poker, I'll tell you what's wrong." Monique was never aloud into a casino because of her age, but she was always great at gambling.

"O-ok." You said as you two walked back inside. You say down at the table as she set up the poker game. You hated cheating, but it had to be done, you had to know what's wrong with her.

"how did you win?!?!" Monique yelled angrily. you shrugged. Monique sighed. "Fine.... I think you're really pretty and whenever I'm around you I get distracted."

You blushed. "I-I think you're really pretty too!" You shyly pressed your lips against her's. She blushed but kissed back.

"I-i think I love you...." You confessed after you pulled back.

"I love you too."
