You sat alone. In the dark. It's the fourth time she stood you up this year. She seemed so excited to go on a date with you, she was actually the one who asked you out. But she said she would meet you at five, it's now eight.

'Sorry I couldn't make it, dude. Got the flu.'

PFFFT. OH WOW! You seriously think I'm gonna believe that?... You made an excuse over text. Not even to my face. Rude.

"Why're you all alone?" You almost didn't hear her because of quiet she was, but you turned to face a blond girl.

"Oh. Because someone canceled on me.." You mumbled. The blond sat next to you on the bench. You awkwardly shifted.

"Why would they do that?" She asked. You shrugged.

"Oh. I haven't even told you my name. I'm Meg." She smiled at you. You smiled back.

"I hate to ask this. But who left you?" She asked.

"I know her. She's my sister." Meg stated.

"That's great." You mumbled and tried to shift away from her, but she just scooted closer.

"I'm sure something came up. She was really excited about going on a date with you. She wouldn't stop talking about it.... I was kind of jealous..."

And right on que, Meg continued. "You may not remember because you weren't exactly sober, but we met a New Years party... You... Kissed me."

"Seems reasonable. You're cute." You nodded.

"D-do you wanna do it again?.... K-kiss that is." Meg asked. You shrugged and smashed your lips against Meg's. When Meg realized what she had asked you to do, and that you actually did it, she pushed you away.

"N-not a word to Amelia. Ok?" She stuttered.

"Yea. Sure." You shrugged and Meg quickly hurried away.
