(Makoto's POV)
As Monokuma made his announcement, everyone began to pile into the elevator, one after another.
As per usual, each person donned an anxious glint in their eyes, their body language stiff. Junko has her arms crossed, her gaze averted away from anyone else. Hina stood away from the group, still reeling from the sudden shock of the death of her best friend. Toko clung close to Byakuya... not much to note there.
But, of course, there were the standouts. Byakuya remained as emotionless as ever, Kyoko remained as calm as ever, Sayaka remained as determined as ever...
And...
"Ahh... I sure do love the silence before the start of any class trial."
Apollo remained as anarchic as usual.
Hina: Bastard...!
Apollo glances over at Hina confused, before looking around the room.
Apollo: Hm? I don't see any mirror here.
Hina: Tch...!
...
As much as I hated to admit it... that was a really good comeback.
Hina: I... don't get you! I don't get any of you guys!
Junko: Don't... get what, exactly?
Hina: How can you act so casual after murdering someone!? All four of you!?
Hina points her fingers towards Apollo, Byakuya, Junko, and Toko.
Junko: C-Casual!? As if! Does it LOOK like I'm casual to you!?
Toko: Yeah, I'm c-completely innocent... How d-dare you call me a murderer!?
Apollo: If I had a bloody nickel...
Hina turns her gaze away from the group, a glare in her eyes as she faces the elevator.
Hina: Whatever...
Byakuya: Either way, the truth will be revealed soon enough. Because there can be no doubt, one of us is the culprit.
Apollo: ... Hm.
"The killer... the one that murdered Sakura..."
"She was stronger than anyone I know. And yet, someone killed her..."
"And that person... is here? That person... is one of us...?"
...
I stared at the elevator, my fists gritting tight.
It just... seemed unreasonable.
The whole mystery with the locked room, the Monokuma Bottles, the chem lab...
...
Apollo: Anyway, Monokuma won't be greeting us for this class trial, so if you guys would be so inclined...
