cherry blossoms

getting in my eyes,

taking my breath away,

leaving me mesmerized

lead my wild thoughts astray,

roaming free in flower fields

let me bask happily in the sun for once

an evergreen breeze

so calming and serene

if I could have a piece of your mind,

I would die peacefully

I don't want this day to end

this day of neverending bliss

I'll never have a day like this again

bursting with flowers and beautiful trees,

our garden was filled with hummingbirds and bees

singing in unique harmonies

you and I were meant to be

You were my perfect addiction,

my beautiful muse

just imagine all the wonderful things I thought of you,

our fate written in starry skies of blue

but with the mystery of romanticizing

the ugly things in life,

I won back your heart with mine

my pain is worth the sacrifice

I wanted to see the look in your eyes

when you talked about the love of your life

when you thought about her, it must've been nice

looking for something you cannot find

in the reflection of my eyes
