𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰

a rainbow bouncing

off of a delicate crystal

how I wish I were happy like you

a rainbow gleaming 

through the pallid mist,

telling me the storm is over,

yet I still prefer the rain

I've never felt this way

about the sun's rays

reflecting on the puddles on the ground

I've never felt this way

about anyone or anything

I've never felt this way

about you

you changed my mind in an instant,

in one sweeping breath,

you stole my heart,

you and your rainbow

who knew that I would

feel this way

about someone who makes me feel...?

this is so new to me

and maybe to you

if you'd like to try it out,

I'd absolutely love to

-splash in some puddles,

smile in the mist,

and look at some crystals

with you and your rainbow

your delicate smile,

your sparkling gaze,

those emerald eyes I adore

you are my light, my song, my love, my faith

even though I just met you yesterday

I fell hopelessly in love

with you and your rainbow
