colliding with mercury

too confused to please

find myself wondering

how do I sleep?

I left you in the shadows

memories of you and me

buried deep, bittersweet

hated how you made me feel

all the pain I know is real

but you and I align

like planets in the night

creating pretty galaxies

with stars in our eyes

with you on my mind

like the red spot on Jupiter

you're there all the time,

yet you only think of her

life's an existential dream

don't know what's reality

testing the forces of gravity

want to try some boundaries?

I might need my space

you're all hers to chase

we reunite every time we fight,

yet we don't know why it feels so right
