Myra's POV:
I was delighted to be able to cuddle with Yue's snowy kitten. She mewled a little at first, but soon fell asleep again.
Ren stood close by, staring after Yue. "What is he doing?" He asked as the boy fluffed up his hair.
"Showing off." I giggled and sat on the grass with Snowy, Ren couldn't be more obvious as he glanced at me and back at Yue. He looked like he was going to run over there and punch the poor boy in the throat.
Then he looked back at me. "Are you friends with my sister Rey?"
I shook my head. "No, why?"
"Eh, I just thought maybe she sent you to keep an eye on me."
"An eye on Yue more likely." I returned. "And I wouldn't blame her if you flirted with Yue like you do around me. Although Yue doesn't have a clue what you're talking about when you do. She's so innocent that she hears and sees everything differently. You keep flirting with her because you're trying to figure out what's different about her. You don't seem to understand that she's just never dated or been exposed to that before."
"How can you tell that?" Ren asked, then cleared his throat. "About Yue, I mean."
"You probably come from an area where you people think you don't matter unless you're dating someone. So you guys flirt your lives away. I bet Yue is way more sheltered, plus she's just not the flirting type." I laughed.
Ren wasn't even listening. He was now glaring over at the boy.
I looked at Yue and the boy and saw that the guy seemed pretty interested in the sweet girl standing in front of him.
Ren had already bolted.
I rolled my eyes and pet Snowy.
Ren had dragged Yue halfway back when they stopped and started talking. Then Yue clutched her head and sank to her knees. Ren crouched down and grabbed her arms.
"What happened!?" I yelled, springing up and running to them.
"Yue!" Ren called to her. Yue sagged against him with a moan.
"What happened?" I asked again. Yue was writing, her face contorted with agonizing pain.
Ren lifted her up just like he had when he moved her from the couch back at the inn; when, asleep, she had pleaded for him not to leave and then kept repeating that she missed him.
Yue cried out and buried her face into Ren's shoulder. She gripped his shirt tightly.
Ren must have been thinking of the same moment I had because I heard him whisper: "Don't worry, I won't leave you alone."
Yue's body relaxed and her breathed evened. Then her voice came. It was small and weak, but sounded mildly annoyed. "I'm not...gonna say...I missed you...again." She took a shaky breath. "I'm not...dreaming....like...last time..."
Ren let out a sigh of relief. "She's going to be okay."
"I'm still mad...at...you." Yue mumbled before passing out.
"You're not." I commented to Ren, wondering why Yue was mad.

We got a large room in the mostly empty inn. Ren brought Yue directly to a bed and laid her down on it.
"What happened back their?" I asked after putting Snowy on a small cat bed we had borrowed.
"I don't know." Ren answered worriedly. "I've never heard of anything like that happening before."
We stood in silence for a minute. Then Yue shot up, almost giving me a heart attack. She looked around until she saw us. "What happened? Why do you guys look so freaked out?"
"Are you still mad at me?" Ren asked with a pained smirk.
"Nooooooo...why would I be mad at you." Yue giggled. Something seemed very...off. "I LOVE you!"
Ren raised an eyebrow.
Yue got a confused look. "Wait...no I don't; that's silly."
I turned to Ren. "She sounds like she got drunk or something.
"That's more than drunk." Ren agreed.
"It's all fake isn't it?" Yue inquired abruptly. "The WHOOOOLE world."
"Yue...I think you should get some actual rest. Have your parents call the doctor if you're still loony in the morning. Unless you're just messing with us." I said cautiously.
"I don't think I have parents." Yue laughed.
"Okaaaaay. This is now majorly weird." Ren looked at me for help.
"Okay um, I think I'm going to pretend to be sick tomorrow." I glanced at Yue. "That way I can check on her."
"Me too." Ren agreed quickly.
"Great. You watch her while I go do some research." I announced and turned to go.
"WHAT!?" Ren cried. "No! She's being drunk person weird, so I need your help!"
"Flirt with her or something." I called as I tapped the exit button.
"You think I want to flirt with a drunk girl!?"
"It's practically your dream come true!" I hit confirm and then exited.
