Chapter 17

A/n: omg I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been very unmotivated lately so I apologize. I also have no idea what I'm doing anymore. If you guys want I can try to write smut, that's up to you.

(Y/n's POV)

If I'm being completely honest, the game was weird. That Asahi guy is crazy good, the same goes for Nishinoya. I think in the middle of the game those two had a little moment? I don't know. The whole game I felt bad about Sugawara. He tries so hard, I don't think many people see that. He tries to hide how much it hurts him, knowing that Tobio is just going to pass him. The others may not see it, but I do.

When the game was done I skipped over to Tobio and the other first years and handed them water. Hinata looked like he could play a few more games. He really is just a ball of energy.

"Great job you guys," I said trying my best to look genuine. I am, but everyone says that after a game. If I was being told that, I would think they're just saying it.

"Thanks (y/n)," Tobio said returning a smile. "Couldn't have done it without your cheering."

"Sure, I didn't even cheer that much. I think I only said 'Nice serve' once," I admit. Now I feel kind of bad. I was so focused on the game I didn't even realize I should have been cheering.

"Yeah, thanks so much for your support," Tsukishima said sarcastically. Haha. I roll my eyes at him.

"Of course!" I return the sarcasm. I turn back to Tobio and give him a sorry look. "Sorry, I was just lost in the game."

"It's okay, at least you were watching," he shrugged and then took a sip of water. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to walk home together tonight?"

"I mean I usually ride home with Sugawara, but walking couldn't hurt, so sure," I say. If he wants to walk with me, he might have something important to say.

"Great! I'm gonna go change," he replies. I should change too. He walks out of the gym and I follow after him and go to the girl's changing room. Once I'm there I start changing.

"(Y/n)?" I hear a voice call out. I turn around expecting to see Kiyoko, but I am greeted by Tsukishima. I am surprised and put my arms in front of my chest. Tsukishima just stands there staring at me.

"What are you doing in here? Get out!" I say loudly, but not loud enough to attract attention. I quickly put on my shirt turn around. I still had my shorts on, so I'm not too worried.

"I needed to ask you something," he says.

"And you couldn't wait for me to come out?" I ask in a demanding tone. "What a perv."

"Sorry. I'll go now," he says turning to leave. I don't stop him. I turn around and shake off what just happened. I finish changing and walk out. Tsukishima is leaning against the wall waiting for me.

"You wanted to ask me something?" I ask walking over to him. He pushes himself off the wall and stands up straight, facing me.

"Yeah," he pauses. I'm guessing he wants to back down. "Never mind." I thought so.

"Ok," I shrug. "I have to go, bye," I say walking away waving. Most people would have asked him to say it, but if he doesn't want to, then I'm not going to force him. Besides, he will most likely come running up behind me and saying it. In 3...2...1.

"Wait (y/n)!" He calls out. I stop walking and turn around. "I don't have to ask you something, I have to tell you something. This is going to sound crazy, but whatever. I don't think you should date Kageyama," he spits out panting due to him running. I'm paying attention now. Why would he say that? "I don't think it's a good idea. I mean you saw how fast he left that girl for you. Who's to say he won't do the same to you."
