Okay, so, here's the updates on everything you really need to know before you interact with these people.

"Wait, I'm telepathic?" Jared smirked. "That's so cool."

Yeah, it's a little weird, too. Have you ever thought of tone of voice in your mind?

"Eh, I guess not," Jared shrugged. "Anyway. So stuff I need to know?"

Yeah, so, your alternate doesn't know about the parents yet, so when we explain that to you, he'll also be figuring it out for the first time.

"Oh, okay," Jared replied. "So, Connor knows everything, I'm figuring?"

Yeah. It'll be a pretty lengthy explanation.

"I guess I'll just listen to you ramble like usual," Jared said, rolling his eyes a little.

Aren't you lucky?

"Very," Jared mumbled, walking into the house alongside Evan.

You can go into your physical form in my room if you want.

"That sounds so fucking wrong, Evan," Jared replied, looking over at him.

You know what I mean by that! I don't know if you have like... a spiritual energy bar or something.

Jared shrugged. "I mean, I actually do, so that might be smart."

You have spiritual stamina?

Jared nodded. "Yep."

Oh. Well then.

Evan walked upstairs. Jared followed him, and soon enough, they got to his room. Once they got inside, Jared went into his physical form, taking deep breaths as he fell on Evan's bed. "Holy shit, that was exhausting."

Evan closed the door behind Jared, frowning a little. "Does your spiritual form drain your energy?"

"I guess so," Jared replied, sitting up on the bed. "It's like going to the gym for an hour and coming home."

"I thought you only went to the gym to fake the emails?" Connor appeared and said that line, shocking Jared a little.

Look, he knew that Connor was going to be here, but actually seeing him wasn't something Jared really prepared himself for. Part of him was honestly a little scared? Like, was Connor pissed at him for writing the emails, or..?

Jared laughed anyways, looking over at him. "Emails were always the second priority. Actually working out was number one."

Evan frowned. "That's not what you told me."

"I didn't tell you so you didn't feel bad because I know you don't work out," Jared shrugged.

Evan crossed his arms. "That's a lie, Jared."

"What? That you don't work out?" Jared asked. "We both know that's not a lie."

"Whatever," Evan sighed, glancing over at Connor. "Where's alternate-Jared? We need to explain to original-Jared what's going on."

"Can you just call me Jay or something?" Alternate-Jared asked, materializing in the air. "Two Jareds is confusing."

"And a lot to deal with," Jared chuckled.

Evan nodded. "Yeah, we can call you Jay."

"Cool." Jay leaned against the wall. "So, how do we start describing everything?"

"We can describe the alternates," Connor suggested.

"Oh, sure," Jay shrugged. "Hey, Jared. You know me already don't you?"
