"Beckett Campbell," Professor Anderson called out.

"I'm here!" I say before going back to my notebook, jotting down my latest ideas.

"What are you writing?" Laney, my best friend, asked beside me.

"It's for my new Charlie fic, look," I say handing her the notebook.

"What? You can't have either of them die or cheat on each other. The readers won't like that one bit," She said as I chuckled.

"But, it adds more drama. Like, even tho one of them cheated will they find their way back to each other? I don't even know how to explain the death part, it was the first thing that came to my head," I said grabbing my notebook from her.

You would think writing fanfictions in college would be weird for a 21-year-old. But honestly, it's kinda therapeutic. Just the feeling of being able to bring characters together always made me happy, especially when writing about Charlie Gillespie. Let me tell you, that man is beautiful. LIke beyond beautiful, he is angelic. I honestly didn't care if people thought I was weird for having an obsession over a guy I've never met. I mean is he ever going to see it? Probably not.

"I think you should stick to the original plotline where they're on the show together," Laney whispered as we tried our hardest to pay attention to what the teacher was saying.

"That's so predictable. It's obvious they're going to end up together, I want the readers to always be on the edge of their seats. Like are they gonna end up together or alone forever?" I say as she chuckled.

"Beckett, Laney," The teacher warned as our conversation was silenced.

The day seemed to fly by with my two classes that day, giving me even more time to work on the fic. When I wasn't at school or work, it was my go-to to pass the time.

"Beckett, can you take a break from the book and get lunch with me?" Laney said as she walked into my room.

"Give me a minute, gotta get this chapter out. Everyone's on the edge of their seats from the last one," I said quickly typing the last few paragraphs and posting. "Alright, let's go,"

-

"Do you think he'll ever see it, Charlie?" Laney asks as we ate our food.

"God, I hope not. That would be so embarrassing," I practically choke on my food.

"But, I think it'd be pretty cool. Charlie knowing you wrote something about him. What if he thought it was cute?" She said wiggling her eyes.

"As if he'll ever see it, Laney," I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, okay. Whatever you say," She laughed at me.

Laney and I have been best friends since we became roommates our freshman year of college. Now, seniors, we've been inseparable ever since. Once we were able to get out of the dorms we quickly got ourselves an apartment, happy to have the freedom.

Yes, college was fun. But, boy it was hard. They say college is the best years of your life, but I've honestly spent the past 3 years obsessing over Charlie. I mean who couldn't? Have you seen the man?

Charlie had the most beautiful blue eyes and a smile that could instantly light up a room. Like who couldn't fall in love with him?

"So, what're our plans for the weekend?" Laney asked as we got back to the apartment.

"I'm probably gonna stay in. Maybe study a bit and work on the book," I said flopping myself down on the couch.

"You? Study? Who is this talking and what have you done with my best friend?" Laney laughed as she sat down next to me.

"You know I study! How do you think I got so smart?" I smirked which instantly made her burst out in laughter.

"Yeah, right," She said before getting up and walking to her room.

The book I had been working on was almost done and I intended on finishing it soon. The main character, Hannah, was just a small-town girl. It was kind of like the starstruck movie. The two basically bumped into each other and he begged her not to tell anyone he was there. Granted, she had no idea who he was at first. But, that's what made them fall in love. They had their struggles but they eventually made it through them. Honestly, one of the most creative books I've ever written.

I sat on my bed, aimlessly scrolling through Instagram. Since I had already posted something today I was gonna give myself a break and just relax. It wasn't normal for me to relax since I was either always doing schoolwork or writing. As I was scrolling, a notification popped up making my eyes go wide.
