So now it was out. I was a warrior. And a good one at that. They were all some what shocked. All but Lucian. He seemed, aware. Like he knew this of me. I had won a battle before but to win a war? It was far fetched and seemed impossible. But if Arthur said I was going to, then it must be true.

"So Phoenix is a warrior," Hunter asked. He was only pushing for more information because I wasn't speaking to him.

"Indeed she is, in a couple of years there will be a war, between her, and others of her kind, hybrids, she will be victorious, but lives will be lost," he said. Wow, that was great. People would die because of me.

"Well, I guess we'd better watch her back at all costs then," Hunter said. He wanted to stay close. That's all this was. And to say he didn't care would be a lie. He did care but he screwed up. And for him to have left me when I needed him most, shows where his loyalty lies.

"Well, I am tired so, Arthur, you can share my dorm if you want," I said. He nodded. Ashton noticed the smiles and looks. And so did Hunter. He was defeated. And to be honest that felt good.

"He can have my room, I will be staying at Ashtons tonight, all this talk about being watched has creeped me out," Lucy said. I rolled my Eyes and smiled at her. Ashton grabs her by the waist and walks with her. Hunter nods to Arthur and then leaves.

Break wasn't over. There was still a few days left. And I was about to have a little fun at school. If I couldn't be on vacation somewhere else, I'll be on one here. So after I got rest, I would have some fun. Hunter didn't like the idea of sharing a room with Arthur. I could tell, but he missed his chance. And until he proved to me that he honestly would give himself up, or anything for that matter, he could stay away from me.

Back at my dorm, Arthur got a good look around. He looked in every room. I showed him the room he would have, he called it 'quaint.' And that was a good word for him. He was a god so if anything, that was high in his standards. He made me laugh. He called Hunters room a 'sham.' And mine was 'Simple.'

"So in your terms my 'simple' room, what would that mean for human terms?"

"We'll fire bird, that would mean 'Nice' or maybe even 'comfortable.' But it's a good thing to a god believe me," he said. He called me Fire Bird!!

"I just heard you call me fire bird," I said. He looked at me in fear. Probably afraid I didn't like it. But I did.

"Don't worry I love that name, it screams Phoenix, and of course my witchy side can be a little spitfire at times, so I'll take it, oh but you HAVE to have a pet name for me," I said. He looked at me confused.

"It's sort of a name you call me in front of people, that others can't call me," I said. He nodded. He thought on it for a minute.

"Venus, it's a beautiful planet of of volcanoes and they always have lava which causes fire, you should be Venus," he said. I smiled at that. My grandmother on my mother's side called me that a few times. She said Venus was a fire waiting to happen, like me.

"My grams use to call me that, I love it," I said. He smiled.

"But I also have another name, because I know that no one else will ever call you this, you wouldn't call yourself this, even though you deserve it," he said. I looked at him with a little uncertainty.

"Princess," he said. I smiled at him. He was so cute sometimes. Focus Phoenix. You were supposed to be a warrior, maybe a warrior princess. Not crushing on a god who clearly just wants to protect you so that you can win a battle.

"It's a very thoughtful name and it's very sweet, and no one would call me that because I would kill anyone else who tried, but you may call me either name," I said. He smiled at me. I didn't know what else to say at this point. He noticed the quite and awkward air.

"I think I'll let you rest, please, get some sleep," he said as he walked out.

He was so beautiful and dreamy. I couldn't help but like him. He was always so thoughtful. And for a god, he really knew how to make me feel less below him. And his desire was me. He liked everything about me. He cared for me. And was willing to go the extra mile for me. Some of my friends wouldn't dream of doing that. But he was lying about what I was up against. The thing that stalked us, watching our every move. Would it follow us? If it were powerful maybe, but was it?

The night kept getting longer and longer. I couldn't sleep and my mind was racing. I thought of taking a walk but what if that thing was out there waiting to get me alone? It wanted me. And from the way it sounded it wanted me to be it's slave or queen. I did not want to chance that. But at the same time, I didn't want to stay cooped up. So I got up wearing my silk pink shorts and white tank top. I placed my pink silk robe on. And I walked out of my room. I put my Sandals on. And then I walked outside.

It's surprisingly at Hunter and Arthur were asleep. I didn't think Gods ever slept. But being in this part of the world, maybe he did. I wandered over to the main hall. No one would be here. At least they shouldn't be here. It was right at three in the morning. Everything was still. The guard wolves were on duty but they weren't alert.

When I arrived inside I could hear something coming from the potions lab. I'm not sure who could be experimenting this late, but I had to go see. I walked slowly into the wizard potions lab, when I seen what was in there my heart froze.

"Hello dear."
