Ashton and Hunter took him to the dungeons. They wanted more information but he wouldn't give them any. If what we needed to kill a god was in here, how hadn't we heard of it before? And what made the gods come out now? What was the big significant reason behind them coming out? I was so confused. And for a moment I was almost afraid. He almost got away with being me, but he didn't. Lucian was able to tell him apart from me.

"Maybe since he's caught, we can get sleep?" Arthur asked. I shrugged my shoulders at him. He never told me we were dealing with another god. And this was the only thing I didn't like about Arthur. His deepest secrets involved him not telling me. But he somehow got away with that one.

We got back to our dorm room. It was going on 5am. I was tired and I didn't want to miss sleep. But I needed to know why he never told me that Loki was the one we were dealing with.

"Hey, why hadn't you told me it was Loki," I asked. He stopped mid step.

"I just didn't want you to think all gods were like him, because I'm not like him, he's dangerous and uncontrollable," he said. I grinned.

"I know Loki can be mischievous and a prankster, but how many people has he really killed?"

"That would be a total of, four thousand over the last two shots and years," he said. So Loki had killed people?

"And I hate defending him but it wasn't like he had a choice," he said. That was a story I would love to hear.

"I've got time, if you want to tell me," I said sitting on my bed. He sat down at the foot of my bed and he began telling me the story of how Loki had killed four thousand people.

"When Loki was first created, he had a heart of gold. It was pure of love and laughter. His tricks were at first, just little pranks on us gods and angels. After a few years passed and his teenage rebellious stage set in, he began amping it up, and he was a man then even, but he began pulling smoke bomb pranks on humans, they would be in their horse and buggy's and he would throw smoke bombs, magic of course, and they would be blinded for a second. It got out of hand one night when a trial of wagons, over a thousand people, were traveling together. He threw one of the biggest ones and they all ran off the bluff and were killed."

"Oh my goodness he accidentally killed thousands because he was prancing them with smoke bombs?"

"Yes and then years later, after he was in hiding for a bit, he came back out and he began to trick again. First it was small like before and then it became bigger, one day while a group of three thousand people were at a concert outside, he thought it would be funny to prank again, bigger this time. He created a very large firework display, and pointed it to the sky behind the stage. But as he lit them, the tipped over and burst into the crown of people. It injured many and killed over five hundred people."

"That's horrible, but it didn't stop did it?"

"No, about thirty years ago, he came back out once again. Right before we went into hiding. He became a man, but not a good one. He fell in love with a woman. They were together for two years. And he almost got married. It was forbidden and his father got angry. He told him he couldn't marry her and if he had to, he would take her out of the equation, that meant death for her," he stopped. I relaxed on my pillow.

"When he didn't listen, his father took her out. He told her it was forbidden and he had warned him. He tried to kill his father to which he was cast down to earth. Banished from heaven. He didn't loose his most basic powers, he could still teleport or shape shift. And he was so hurt over his sweet Beth, that was her name, he became angry. He went out to yet another concert in doors and he began to get drunk. Yes he was in human form so now he was drunk."

"Let me guess it didn't end well for twenty five hundred people?"

"Not in the slightest. That night he got so drunk he met a demon. The demon told him if he planted a "fake" bomb he would bring his Beth back to life and they could be together, and he planted it. He was told by the demon to leave and meet him about 4 miles out. As the band got done playing, the bomb went off. And it killed twenty five hundred people. And burned about two hundred of them. They lived but were never the same," he said. That was so sad. His sorrow had caused such destruction because of the life he lost.

"It was all accidents, but he's easily manipulated when drunk. And that's the worse part, he chose to do these things not knowing what would happen," he said. That was a very sad thing. To have loved and lost it.

"So he's misunderstood?"

"Not quite, he's still a tricky person and can't be trusted, even if it is because of his grief and sorrow, he still can't be trusted," he said. I nodded.

"You get sleep, I'll be in the next room," he said getting up. He walked out leaving me with my thoughts.

I couldn't help but wonder what Loki in love actually looked like. It was so hard to see it. Especially since he's stalked us for months on months, tricked us into thinking he was other people and wanting me to do his bidding. It didn't seem right to judge him. He was misunderstood. And I didn't want him to be killed just because he was in pain from his loss.

"I have to help him get through it."
