Two

We spent the next two weeks going on dates. He was sweet and kind. And he cared about my opinions. The more time I spent with him, the more I liked, who he was. He was a very sensitive person. I loved that he thought about me. I wasn't use to this kind of attention. We didn't spend every second together. We only went out twice each week. We went for the walk and then we decided to wait until the next week. He got closer to Ashton so the days We weren't together Hunter hung out with Ashton.

The week after, on Monday night we went into the woods and hunted together. I loved that he helped me hunt. And then on Friday we went star gazing. It was romantic. And he was so respectful. He brought a blanket for me to lay on and then covered me with one and laid on that blanket. He was definitely taking things slow with me.

Today was Sunday, and it was a warm day. And in a few days April would be here. I meant the month. Which meant that spring was around the corner. Today I was in my room with Lucy. She made it clear we were to be left alone for a few hours. 'Catching up' as she called it. I loved hearing about her and Ashton. They had been together for a few weeks now and everything was going perfect for them. That's why he didn't seem interested in me for the longest time. A wolf and a vampire, odd seeing them together. But they were cute together. He was so sweet to her. Hunter and I weren't official. We just went on a few dates. But that's not what bothered me. While in school Hunter did lean on me, but he also hung with some of the wolves too. Leaving me behind at times. Which was fine. But I only had Lucy and she was with Ashton now.

"Penny for your thoughts Phe," Lucy asked. I grinned at her. I didn't want to tell her I was worried about me and Hunter.

"Honestly, I'm just glad you and Ashton are together now, I mean after the prophecy I didn't think we would end up together but I'm glad he has someone that makes him happy."

"Phoenix, I know you care for him, and he cares for you, but I think what you two have is, more relation related than feeling related."

"You're probably right," I agreed. She meant my mom and dad being so close to him. And she was right in some aspects. We fell for each other due to his promise to keep me safe. But that's all it was, protecting me. And I liked the attention. But when Hunter came into play, things changed, I fell for him, and now I like him so much. But he hasn't told me how he truly felt. He says he cares about me and wants to be able to take things slow with me but, it doesn't feel that way.

"I think you and Hunter would be great together," she said. Yeah until Hunter realizes the demons in this school can teach him how to use power. That wouldn't be fun.

"Yeah, but we agreed to stay friends and date until we really got to know each other."

"Hunter is an old soul for sure, but if you wanted him to speed up he would do it for you," she says. I grinned and shrugged.

"He loves taking his time and I love seeing him happy, if this makes him happy then I'll deal with it," I told her. She nodded and chuckled at me.

"Do you want to go grab some late lunch with me," she asked. It was evening time and we hadn't eat food since lunch. So late lunch sounded great.

"I would love too," I told her. She grabbed me off the bed and jerked me to the door. Dang she was strong. Figured. I was only weak because I wasn't feeling well. I was stressing over the other prophecy and Hunter. Which wasn't a shock to anyone. But I kept it a secret. No one knew how stressed out I really was.

I wore my normal sun dress, it was deep blue with a yellow half sleeved half thin cardigan. I also wore tan wedge heels. My hair was curly as always. Well, wavy. I looked like a model out of a magazine other than my height. I was shorter than most but that wasn't a big deal to me. Lucy always wore capris in the spring and matched it with a tan half sweater.

We ran into a few students on the way to the cafeteria. Late lunch was always Lucy's favorite thing. I wasn't sure where Ashton and Hunter would be, but if I knew Hunter he would be hunting. And Ashton wouldn't be to far behind. Being a witch had perks, I could eat human food. Like most wolves, Lucy could also.

We arrived in the cafeteria and were very surprised at how many people was here for late lunch. Over ten people. Normally there weren't that many. But tonight must have been a pretty hungry night for some. And some were just hanging out. I seen Luna and Kiera sitting together at a table. They waved at us. We waved back. They rarely had any time for the clan. It wasn't unusual. They were really busy. School was hard and they weren't as 'intellectual' as some of us.

"Okay so, I was thinking, what if we had a spring break party?"

"Lucy, I'm not sure how that would go over with Ashton and the others."

"I talked to Ashton, he thinks since the major threat is gone, we should go to the island of the lost."

"I'm sorry Lucy it sounded like you said Ashton was okay with going to the island of the lost," I said with confusion. She smiled.

"Yes, I did, and Ashton agreed it would be a fun spring break because it's warm and there's an ocean, we can teleport over, and have a good time," she said. I was so confused. That island was called that for a reason obviously but not because people got lost there. It's because people who were lost, went there for clearance. It was a magical place.

"So you want us all to pack up for a week and go to the island of the lost," I asked. She nodded.

"Why."

"Because it will be good for the clan, and all the boys."

"Luce, did you just say 'ALL' the boys?"

"Yes, you didn't know?"

I shook my head in confusion. What was she talking about? I only knew about two boys(men). And that was the ones we liked.

"Our girls are all seeing someone."

"Dating them?" I asked. She shook her head. I asked who they were.

"Well, Kiera is seeing Colby, Luna is seeing Blake, you know Sarah is with Lucian, And Cassie is seeing Cedric."

"I'm sorry did you say Colby?"

"I did why?"

"He's back?"

"He has been for a few weeks, why?"

"I had feelings for him, Kiera knew that, that's why she's with him."

"Wait a second, is that the reason he left, because I cared for you and Kiera was just easier?"

"I think so, but why now," I said. She shrugged and looked at Kiera.

"You don't think, Kiera knew he had feelings for you and she had feelings too and got jealous, and is getting back at you, so you?"

"Lucy, at this point anything is possible, but I don't put it past her."
