Wait? Artemis? Did he just say that his actual name is Artemis?

"As in the moon god?"

He nods to me. The moon god is the one who knows all prophecies. But he said his human name was Landon? Did he portray humans too?

"So wait you're a moon god who's a wolf and has a human name?"

"I am, I am over six hundred years old, but as a human I stopped again at twenty eight. So that is the age I portray, people only take me serious when I am in wolf form," he said. I nodded. I wanted to know why he looked like but odds were he wouldn't show me.

"You are the one in the moon prophecies, we have much to talk about," he said. He turned away and I believe he wanted me to follow. So I followed him deeper into the cave.

When he stopped at an opening, I seen a fountain on the inside. Lot with blue, green and purple color, and 1 other color I honestly didn't expect to see, orange. The other colors were the moon colors but orange? This was a little odd. I had never heard of an orange moon at all. Almost never had anyone heard of one.

"Phoenix, I will ask, do you want me to change into human form, or stay this way?"

"Honestly I want to see you," I said. He nods and then sighs. He lowers his head and begins to change form. A swift wind blows past me as he changes. Once the change is complete I can see before me, a very handsome man, long white hair, almost silver. His face is chiseled. He is so beautiful. And he was right about the young and handsome thing. Or was that what he said?

"Phoenix, we have much to discuss," he said stepping up to the fountain. I followed his lead.

"The orange moon is a prophecy in which, you have created, it sounds exactly like you think," he paused. I created one? But how?

"When you completed the first two prophecies you took on one of your own, more or less a choice at the end of all prophecies. It allows you to choose your own path outside the prophecies, if you chose a mortal life or another soulmate, this was your magic at work," he said.

"So because I fulfilled these prophecies, and my magic amplified I created my own destiny or prophecy to be fulfilled when they are all fulfilled?"

"It's completely as it sounds but with a twist," he said. I was confused.

"Once the prophecies are done, you have the right to choose your own freedoms, you own paths, so if you chose to love a god, or to love a demon, whatever it may be, it is yours to choose, but you have to complete the one last prophecy to fulfill your own," he said. I understood.

Okay, but how did you know all of this, did you know I would open this magic in me?"

"I did not know the magic would create this, no, but I knew your magic would be stronger and more powerful after you fulfilled the other two," he said. I nodded. He was to hard not to look at. His silver blonde hair hanging from his shoulder, and his perfectly chiseled face glowing in the fountain light. Stop it Phoenix you like Hunter.

"So why do you hide here, why not come out and say hello to the rest of the world," I asked. He sighed and walked around the fountain. His leather pants and vest making those little a crunchy noises.

"I choose to stay alone. When I see all of you, it makes me feel better, you all are so weak and fragile, so emotional, I'm an ancient god, I don't have time for emotions, but somewhere in me, I pity you," he said. I nodded. That was deep and brutal. He was sad for us but he hated that we were tied to emotions.

"So you've never been sad or upset?"

"I have had my fare share of anger over the people, but not so much I would let it overshadow my duties," he said. I nodded. He sighed again.

"Okay, I will come outside, but only if it's to be around you, I am not great with people or creatures lower than my stature," he said. Wow, there it is, the "I'm mightier" slogan.

"You might be a little surprised at how well we handle emotions," I said. He chuckled.

"Doubtful, lead the way," he said.

I gladly walked back out to the top of the rocks where I started. He followed. He looked uneasy but he made it this far. I wanted him to meet everyone because being in that cave for a long time has got to be a pain. Maybe not for him but it would be for me.

"I'm changing back, I don't want them knowing what I look like, right now," he said. I shrugged my shoulders. He began to change again. After a few minutes there was a 5 foot wolf before me. Weird he was only five feet.

"You know for a god, you're really short," I said. He rolled his eyes and began talking to me.

"I resent that, but I chose to blend in, not stick out," he said. I rolled my eyes.

"You're a silver wolf, you're going to stick out," I said. We walked down into the jungle together. He was really swell, but full of himself.

"I never thought of that, I guess I could stick out, but I want them to See me this way first, maybe they'll trust me being a silver wolf has it's advantageous in creatures," he said. He shook my head and snickered.

We got to the beach where the sun was setting. No one was there yet so I invited Artemis so sit on the rock I had recently been on. He accepted the offer. We sat there for a few minutes watching the link and purple sun set over the ocean. We both didn't have a word to say. Just enjoying the view and the company. He could be a great friend if he wasn't so cocky.

"Phoenix," I heard from behind me. I turned to see the gang standing behind me. The silver wolf sitting beside me. They were ALL fearful. Artemis stands on his paws and turns around to face them. Ashton immediately recognized him.

"Oh my goodness, everyone bow to him," Ashton said. They looked at Ashton and then bowed with him. They didn't know what they were bowing at. Artemis looks to me with weary eyes. I shrug.

"We are proud to be in your presence, your holiness," Ashton says. Everyone else stands up and looks at each other in whispers.

"Wait, who is he?" Hunter asked. He was so cute.

"I am Artemis."
