Chapter 9

We have been home for about a week now with Braxton and Cassie, but they aren't the only new members of the family. A couple of days after they were born, Sierra had her baby. She had a girl and named her Lynlee Mae and let me tell you, she is SO precious. It's like a baby over load in our family.

"Hey Aud will you go and hold Braxton while I feed Cass? I'll have to feed him in a minute." My mom said. "I can feed him" I said. "Okay here is his bottle and here is Braxton." She said handing me Braxton. "Hey stinker," I said to my brother. "Are you hungry, yeah?" I asked him as I gave him his bottle. "Tonight when daddy comes home, maybe we can convince him to let us have a movie night. They are super fun. All you do is lay around, cuddle, laugh, eat popcorn, and watch movies." I told him. "Hey mom, are we doing anything today?" I asked. "Umm we are going over to your Nana's I think later tonight." She said. "Will Lynlee be there?" I asked. "Yeah I think so." She said. "Well bubba, there goes our movie night." I said.

"Hey mom I'm gonna put him in his swing and go get ready for tonight." I said. "Okay that's fine. We are going to leave as soon as your dad gets home so if you can help get the babies ready that would be great." She said. "Yeah, I can help." I said. I went upstairs and went into my bathroom to get ready. I turned on 5sos music and started my make up. Yes I know I'm only going to my Nana's, but I wear make up every day, unless I'm just staying at home or if I'm sick. After I did my make up, I loosely curled my hair and the went to get dressed. I put on jeans and my brown boots, a red flannel, with other fall colors in it, and a brown furry vest. After I got dressed I went into the babies room to get them dressed and ready.

After about an hour of us getting ready, dad got home. "You guys ready to leave?" He asked. "Yup" I said. We put the kids in the car and then I got in and Bailey called me. "Hello?" I said as I answered. "Audrey its Jack!" Bailey said crying. "Bailey what's wrong? What happened." I asked. By now I was worried. "He was in a car accident and he's hurt bad and they think he might slip into a coma. Audrey I'm scared." She said. "Bailey I have to go" I said as hung up, dropped my phone and cried. "Audrey what's wrong?" My mom asked. "I need a plane ticket to North Carolina. Now!" I said crying. "Why what happened?" My parents asked. "Jack! He was in a car accident and Bailey said he's hurt bad and he might slip into a coma. Dad I'm scared, I need to go back." I said in between tears. "Okay Audrey, lets get to your Nana's and then we will figure everything out okay?" My dad said. "Okay just please hurry I can't lose Jack!" I said.

When we got to my Nana's, I ran straight to the bathroom only to see how big of a mess I was. I need to see him. "Audrey are you okay?" My mom asked me. "No not at all. I'm scared mom, I need to see him." I said as I hugged her. "I know we are trying the best we can to find a ticket for you." She said. After that we went back into the living room. "Okay Aud, your leaving in a couple hours. I'm going to go home and grab you some stuff okay? And I know it's your first time, but you're flying by yourself." My dad said. "Okay, I don't care I just need to to see Jack." I said.

"Bye dad love you, bye mom, bye Braxton and Cass." I said as I got on the plane. I had to sit by some kid that I didn't know obviously. Wait a second, is that Dylan?? OMG I'm sitting next to Dylan Dauzat, I think I might just faint. "Hey Dylan!" I said. "Hey, do I know you?" He asked with that cute grin. "No but I'm a huge fan." I said. "But you look familiar." He said. "Your Cameron Dallas' daughter, right?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "Well here let's take a selfie!" He said. "Thats cute" I said as he showed me the picture. "Hey give me your number so I can send it to you." He said. After I received the picture I saved it and posted it on Instagram and then tried to get comfortable. "So where you going?" Dylan asked. "To see my boyfriend, he got into a car accident and I need to see him." I said. "OH" he said. Boyfriend really? "Wait Dylan he's not my boyfriend." I said. "We, I guess, just like each other, friends I guess." I said knowing now it would be a while before any relationship between Jack and I would start. "It's okay. You can lay your head on my shoulder until we get there." He said. "Thanks" I said as I laid my head on his shoulder.

When I got off the plane, my Aunt Ryleigh was there to greet me. "Hey Audrey" she said as she hugged me. "You okay?" She asked. "Yeah is he doing okay?" I asked. "Umm he could be better but he's doing better than earlier." She said. "Did he go into a coma?" I asked know what she was going to say. "Yea he did about an hour ago, but the doctors said it shouldn't be for very long. Come on let's go to the hospital." She said.

When we got to the hospital, I saw my Uncle Nash and ran right to him and cried. "Hey hey hey, it's going to be okay, okay? Jack is going to be fine." He said trying to reassure me. "Can I go see him?" I asked. "Yeah, I'll walk you down there." He said. We got down to the room and I opened the door only to see my best friend looking lifeless and hopeless. I don't if I can do this. "Can I be alone Nash?" I asked. "Yeah sure, I'll be out here if you need me." he said as he left. I walked over and sat by Jack with my hand on his. "Hey Jack. I don't know if you can hear me or not but I just wanted to say I love you so much and I know that you can get through this. When you wake up I promise to be right beside you and you know I don't break my promises. I need you to get through this okay? I love you." I said as I kissed him.

"Hey Bella" I said as Jack's 4year old sister came over to me." "Hey Audrey" she said. "What's up?" I said. "Nothing I just miss Bubba." She said. "Bubba is going to be okay. You'll get to see him soon." I said. "Wait why are you here? I thought that daddy said you moved." she said. "I did move but I came back while Bubba was in the hospital so I could see him because I love him." I said. "I love him too." She said as she laid on my chest. "Are you tired Bella?" I asked and she shook her head yes in response. "Well let's take a nap okay?" I said as we tried to get comfortable in the hospital chairs.

I woke up later to find Nash holding Bella and Bailey waking me up, all of them look surprised. "Audrey come here." Bailey said. "What?" I asked. "Come with me to Jack's room now!" She said. Why is se rushing me, she doesn't seem upset? I walked in the hospital room and my face lit up. "Hey Audrey, I didn't mean to scare you but I heard what you said and I love you too." Jack said. "I ran over to him and hugged him. "I'm so happy I got my Jack back." I said and kissed his cheek.
