Chapter 20

"Dad Mal wants to know if I can stay the night." I said. "That's fine but Shawn told me about Luke and if you like him that's fine just don't rush into things you hear me? I'm leaving be good love you." My dad said. "Love you too." Ugh I don't think I'm rushing into things?

"Come on hot stuff we are going to watch movies!" Luke said. "Coming." "Hot stuff?" Mal asked. "It's a long story." I said and she laughed. We went into Luke's room. "Audrey!" Luke yelled. "Luke!" I yelled. "Come cuddle with me!" He yelled. "Fine." I said and climbed into his bed and laid next to him. "I'm going to make popcorn. Be right back" Mallory said as she left. "How's it going hot stuff?" Luke asked. "Well I'm talking to this loser." I said. "Well then. Whatcha wanna watch?" He asked. "Umm let's watch The Maze Runner!" I said. "Okay but promise me you won't drool on me over Dylan O'Brian?" He said. "No promises."

"Hey Aud, get up the movies over." Luke said as he shook me. "Huh?" I said waking up. "Well look who's up. Lemme go wake Mal." He said. "No that's fine let her sleep." I said. "You just don't wanna get up and go sleep in her room do you?" He asked. "How do you know me so well." we laughed. "Luke?" "Yes cutie?" "I don't have any pajamas and I don't want to wear jean shorts to bed." I complained. "I'll be right back." He said as he went to his closet. "Here's you a shirt and here's some sweats." He said. I went into the bathroom to change. Omg his clothes smell so good. What am I saying? "Aww look at you in my clothes looking all cute." He said as I laid back down and grabbed my phone. Jack texted me.

Jack- hey I'm really sorry. We need to talk please.

I just ignored it. "Who is that?" Luke asked. "My friend Camden." I lied. "Oh ok. So tomorrow how bout we go get ice cream and maybe the beach?" Luke said as he played with the ends of my hair. "Sounds great." I said and cuddled up to Luke and fell asleep.

~Next Morning~

"Luke Andrew!" His mom yelled. "Andrew, I like it" I said. "Oh hush. What?" He yelled back. "Come here!" She yelled and Luke and I both got up and went downstairs. "Why was Audrey asleep with you?" Shawn asked and Luke immediately snapped his head to look at Mallory. "Mallory why do you have to always snitch on me and ruin everything?" Luke yelled. "It's my job." She said as she got up and went to your room. "Audrey how do you think your dad would feel about this?" Shawn asked me. "Umm to be honest I really don't think he would care because I fell asleep in Jacks bed all the time." I said. "Well Luke next time don't just sneak her in there in the middle of the night." Luke's mom said. "I didn't, we fell asleep during the movie." He said. "And so Mal lied. Mallory come here!" Shawn yelled. "Have fun getting in trouble you big liar." Luke said to Mallory as we went upstairs to his room.

|Luke's POV|

"Dad me and Audrey are going to walk to here house to let her change then we are getting ice cream and going to the beach okay?" I yelled. "Okay be careful" my dad said and I took Audrey's hand and we left. "So how's life?" I asked. "Umm it's great actually. Hey Luke so Jack texted me last night." Audrey said. "And?" I asked. "He wants to talk to me and I'm scared he's going to want to get back together with me." She said. "Hey look at me. That won't happen unless you let it and if he tries to make a move or something just call me okay. Look we are here." I said as we walked up to her front door.

When we got in we went straight to her room. "Nice guitar. Do you play?" I asked. "Yeah kind of. I sing too." She said as she picked up her guitar and sat on her bed. "Sing me something." I said. "Well what do you want to hear?" She asked. "How about, Four Five Seconds." I said. "Okay sounds good" she said and started singing.

"Who knew Cameron Dallas' daughter could sing like an angel." I said. "Aww thanks." She said and kissed my cheek. "Now let me get dressed okay?" She said.

~Audrey's POV~

I really like Luke a lot and I don't know how I'm supposed to break it to Jack. It's going to break Jack's heart. I changed into my pink and black bathing suit with jean shorts over it, with a Black 5sos crop top. "Okay I'm ready." I said as I came out of my closet.

"What kind of ice cream do you want?" Luke asked me. "Umm chocolate." I said and went and sat down. "Here you go." Luke said as he gave me my ice cream. "Thank you." I said. "You know there's this girl" he said. "Oh really?" I said. "Yeah and she's super hot but I don't really know how to win her over." He said. "Well if it was me, I would just treat her right and act like she's the only girl in the world." I said and he leaned across the table and kissed me. "I think we would make a cute couple." He said. "Oh really?" I asked. "Yeah, sure do." And about that time Jack comes in with Nash. "Hey Audrey!" Nash yelled. Seriously Nash? "Hey" I said and waved. "Wanna head to the beach Audrey?" Luke asked me. "Yeah sure." I said and we left holding hands. Maybe that gave it away to Jack.

"Luke Andrew!" I yelled as I came up from the water. "Yes?" He said laughing. "This is not funny." I said and pushed him down. "Aw your cute when your mad." He said. "Well duh I'm always cute." I said and laughed. I looked up and Luke pulled me in. I looked into his precious brown eyes and got lost. We both leaned in and kissed. I don't know, I think I love Luke.

|at home that night|

"So you wanted to talk to me" I said as Jack sat on my bed. "Audrey, I messed up. I love you. I don't know what I was think or doing at that party. it just sort of happened and I knew it was wrong. I just want you back." He said. "I'm sorry Jack I can't. That's the second time you've kissed another girl and right now I'm losing trust and I have Luke and I don't know I just can't take you back." I said crying. "But Aud you're my everything. Please." he said. "I'm sorry Jack. I still love you but I just can't take you back." I said. "We'll have fun with Luke. Just know I'll always love you" he said and got up and left. I laid down and cried. Why did my life have to be so complicated.

"Audrey, someone wants to see you" my dad said as he let Jaxx in. "Hey buddy" I said as Jaxx jumped on my bed. "You okay?" My dad asked. "No not really. I did everything with Jack but then he messed it up and then came Luke and now I don't know what to do." I cried and cuddled with Jaxx and my dad. "You know it's going to be okay?" My dad said. "I wish I knew." I said. "I'm gonna let you get some sleep okay." "okay" I said and looked at my phone. 2 new messages. One from Jack and one from Luke.

Jack- just know I'll always love you

Luke- goodnight hot stuff❤️

I replied to Luke and Luke only.

Me- I love you too Luke Andrew💖

And then I fell asleep still confused on who to choose.
