Chapter 31

"Oh my gosh" I said laughing hysterically as Jack walked out of my bathroom dressed in clothes from my closet. "How do you wear this stuff babe?" He asked referring to a crop top of mine and some skinny jeans he managed to put on. "Well I mean, considering it fits me, it's not that bad" I said and continued what I was doing before on my laptop.

"What are you looking at?" Jack asked as he sat beside me on my bed. "Clothes. Please go change" I said laughing. "But don't I look hot?" He asked. "Yes, very hot" I said sarcastically. "Now go change so we can head to your house." I said closing my laptop.

While Jack changed in the bathroom, I changed into a white tank top with printed shorts and a white cardigan. I left my hair natural for today and put on my heart necklace and brown sandals.

"Hey look it's the necklace I got you" Jack said as he walked out of the bathroom with his clothes on. "Yeah, I wear it everyday." I said. "I'm glad you like it" he said and kissed my cheek. "So what exactly are we doing at your house?" I asked. "Umm they're cooking and we're hanging out." He said. "Who's we?" I asked. "Me, you, Bella, your brother and sister and Matt and his kids." He said. "Oh cool lets go!" I said and we walked downstairs to meet my mom who had just recently moved back in.

"Hey you two ready to go?" My mom asked us. "Yeah" I said and we left for Jack's house.

"Audrey!!!" Bella and Ava (Matt's little girl) yelled as I walked in the house. "Hey sweet girls" I said and bent down to their level. "What are you doing here?" Ava asked me. "I came to hang out" I said. "Are you gonna swim with us?" Bella asked. "Maybe" I said and kissed her cheek and she ran off to her room. "Ava where's your little sister?" I asked. "Daddy has her, she's asleep" she said. "How old is she now?" I asked just to see if Ava could remember. "This is what Daddy told me the other day. He said that Jordan is 3 years old and I'm almost 5" she said. "Your getting so big" I said and hugged her. "Yeah, I'm a big girl" she said and ran off to Bella's room.

"Audrey!" My Aunt Ryleigh yelled from the kitchen. "Come help me finish these cupcakes." "Ooh cupcakes!" I said and walked to the kitchen. "I need you to help ice these for me" she said. "Okay what color icing?" I asked. "Umm Nash what color should the icing be babe?" She asked. "Do green" he said. "Okay where's the food coloring so I can make this green?" I asked. "It's in the cabinet" she said. I grabbed it and put a couple drops in the icing and mixed it until it was green.

"Hey babe look what I found" Jack said coming downstairs from his room. "My guitar!" I said looking at him with wide eyes as I finished the cupcakes. "Maybe you could sing for us when they finish the food" Aunt Ryleigh said. "Sounds great" I said. "Ooh I want one" Jack said and stole a cupcake. "Jack Hamilton!" I scolded. "What makes you think you can just take one of these cupcakes." his mom said. "I want one!" Bella yelled. "Yeah me too!" Ava yelled. "See what you started you big dork!" I said and laughed. "Sorry" he said with his mouth full. "Not until you eat lunch." Aunt Ryleigh said and then the doorbell rang. "Hey Haley (Matt's Wife)" We said. "Hey guys!" she said as she laid down the brownies she brought. "Oh you didn't have to bring those." Ryleigh said. "Oh it's no big deal" Haley responded. "Mommy! Ava yelled as she ran into the kitchen. "We're you good while I was gone?" Haley asked. "Yeah" she said and Haley gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her to go play. "Where's Matt and Jordan?" She asked. "Matt's outside with guys in the pool and Jordan is in Jacks room asleep." Aunt Ryleigh told her. "Okay. Do Yall need any help?" She asked. "Nope. I just finished the cupcakes" I said.

"Thanks for the food guys it was great!" I said. "The cupcakes were the best" he said and I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Here start playing" he said. "Don't rush" I said and he laughed.

I sat back on the couch and decided to play my favorite country song, 'Fly'.

"Sissy!!" My 3 year old little sister yelled. "Hey there Cass!" I said and picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Where's Bubba?" I asked her. "Mommy and daddy!" She said and pointed to them. "Oh okay!" I said and sat her down. "Audrey come swimming!" Bella yelled from outside. "Alright I guess" I said. "Wanna come?" I asked Jack. "Why not" he said and kissed me. "Good thing I brought my bathing suit" I said and ran to the bathroom and changed. "I'm ready!" I yelled as I got out of the bathroom. "Good" Jack said and picked me up bridal style. "They are so cute" my mom said. "They really are" my Aunt Ryleigh and Aunt Haley said.

Jack ran outside and jumped in the pool with me still in his arms. We came up and I kissed him. "Keep it G rated please" My dad, Nash, and Matt teased. I turned and looked at them and then missed Jack. "You're a brat" my dad said laughing a little. "Love ya" I said and blew him a kiss.
