Chapter 30

"I'm not going to tell you again Audrey! Get your crap together so we can go to your moms!" My dad yelled from downstairs. "I'm not getting up and turning off my Netflix just to go to talk to the devil. I don't want to see her." I said. Ever since we got back from our short little beach trip, my dad and I have argued so much and now he wants me to go with him to get the kids, don't think so dad. He came marching up the stairs thinking maybe that would make me get up. "Audrey" he said opening my door. "Can you please shut that. It was closed for a reason." I said. "No I won't. Now get up and let's go." He said. "No dad. I'm not going and besides, Jack is coming over." I said. "Whatever, I'm not arguing anymore. I'm sick of your attitude. And you're crazy if you think your keeping that phone. When I get back that phone's mine and Jack's not staying the night." He said. "Why do you have to be like that" I said. "Why do you have to be a brat" he said mimicking me. "Because I'm your daughter now leave" I said. "Audrey, I'm not playing, lose the attitude. I'll be back." He said and left.

After he left I got a text from Jack saying he was here. I went downstairs and opened the door. "Hey Hamilton" I said and kissed his cheek. "Hey Aud." He said. "Why is your dad here?" I asked. "Umm your dad told my dad you were grounded so dad said your dad asked him to come over and watch us like we're babies or something." He said. "I hate my dad." I said and we went and sat on the couch. I went and got us both a couple cookies and a blanket and we cuddled on the couch until Nash came in. "Okay so Cameron left some rules. He said since Audrey is grounded there will be no going in her room and you have to stay downstairs. And he said Audrey has to do the dishes before any cuddling happens okay?" Nash said. "Whatever" I said and got up to do the dishes.

I was almost done with the dishes by now. I rinsed the last dish off with the little water spraying thing and sat it in the sink. I went to put the sprayer back and I accidentally sprayed Jack. "OMG I'm so sorry" I said laughing uncontrollably. "It's on." He said and grabbed the sprayer spraying me back. "Jack, Jack stop" I said between laughs. He came up and poured his glass of water on me. I gave him a look. "Too far?" He asked as he smiled innocently. I just gave him a hug. "You okay?" He asked laughing a little. I looked up and gave him a huge grin. "Your so cute" he said and kissed me. I ran my fingers through his hair and they landed around his neck. We moved back to couch and cuddled. We broke the kiss and looked at each other. Nash had gone upstairs to talk to someone on the phone so it was just us. "I really love you" he said. "I love you too" I said and we took a nap on the couch.

When dad got back he woke Jack and I up. "What?" I said as he woke me up. "Your brother and sister are here" he said. Cassie and Braxton are now almost three and they are so cute. "Hey baby" I said and sat Cassie on my lap. Jaxx came running over and jumped on Jack. "Jaxx, get down. Don't wake him up." I said and Jaxx got down. "Jack" Cassie said. "Yeah Jack's here." I said. Jack and Cassie are like best friends and its so adorable. "Hey Cass" Jack said waking up. "Say hey Jack" I said and put her down by Jack. "I'll be right back" I said and went and got Braxton. "Hey bubba" I said and sat back down on the couch. I laid down by Jack and the twins laid between us. "Yall look like a little family" Nash said. "Yeah not for a long time" I said and we laughed.

"Oh Audrey I need your phone" dad said and I ignored him. "Audrey" he said trying to get me to answer and I just continued talking to Jack. "Audrey!" He said. "What do you want" I said with attitude. "Excuse me?" He said. "I didn't stutter." I said. "Give me your phone" he said. Crap, he's mad. I sat up and gave him my phone and laid back down. "Nope got to your room now" he said and Jack and I went to my room.

"Ugh, why does he hate me!" I said as I laid down on my bed. "He doesn't hate you babe" Jack said as he wrapped his arms around me. "I'm pretty sure he does, just like everyone else" I said and closed my eyes letting a couple tears fall. "Hey it's okay" Jack said and wiped my tears. "I love you and so does your dad I promise" he said. "Ugh it's getting late which means your fixing to leave." I said. "Why don't I just stay" he said. "Already asked. Dad said no." I said and sat up on my bed. "Well I better go" he said getting up. "Bye I love you baby" I said. "I love you too" he said and leaned over the bed and gave me a kiss. "See you tomorrow?" He said. "See Ya tomorrow Jack" I said and laughed and left.

"Hey Audrey let me talk to you for a minute" my dad said walking into my room. "What" I said. "Okay well first of all, this attitude you have isn't going to work. Your going to have to lose it because it's very disrespectful. And second, your mom is coming back" he said. I just sat there in shock. "What?!" I said. "Me and your mom are getting back together" he said hesitantly. I just smiled and gave him a huge hug. "You a little happy?" He asked laughing. "I'm very happy." I said. "Thought you didn't like her" he said. "Eh, I guess I still love mom" I said with a smirk. "She just makes me mad sometimes." I said. "You're a mess" he said and kissed my forehead. "Get some sleep okay? Love you!" He said and walked out. "Love you too" I said and finally fell asleep.
