"It's for the best, Y/N." your dad told you as you packed up your room at the base, giving your father the silent treatment as he tried to help.
"But I don't want to leave you guys!" You protest, angrily stuffing your shirts in a box and throwing your hands up in frustration.
"Come on, Y/N, it won't be that bad, you can always call us and we will visit and you'll get to spend some quality time with your sister." Fitz tried to convince you of the good side of things while he folded your shirts neatly to pack away. You just nodded softly as you went back to packing, not wanting to push the topic any further.

"Here we are!" Your dad cheered, driving up to the apartment. You each grabbed some boxes and made your way up to the 5th floor where your sister said she lived.
"Her apartment should be right here" your mum exclaims in a cheery voice as you reach Alya's door. She knocks on the door and it opens to reveal your older sister Alya with a happy smile at seeing her family once again after so long.
"Hello, hello, welcome, come on in" Alya smiles cheerfully as you take in the boxes that you had to carry up five floors due to the broken lift. You all hug after setting your boxes down. "Here Y/N, your room is down the hall" she points you in the direction and you start to carry your boxes to the small, mostly empty room with a bed and a desk. You moved all the boxes into your new room before your sister called out to you. "Y/N supper time!" You sat down at the table with your family for the first time since your sister moved out.
"Well isn't this nice the whole family back together again" dad said happily as you dig into your meals.

"You know Y/N, I really think you are going to benefit from going to school here" your sister claimed. You continued to eat and make simple conversation, avoiding the topic of moving schools. After you finished your dinner you went back to your room to unpack your things while your mom helped Alya with the dishes.
"Y/N how about we go to the store down the street to pick up some thing you may have forgotten?" Mum asked, peeking into your room.
"Yeah sure let's go" You tell her following her towards the door.
"We will be back in a little bit!" she calls to your dad and sister. You exit the apartment building and walk down the street towards a small deli/ convince store that you drove past on the way to your sisters place. A bell rings as you enter the store.
"Good evening!" a man calls from behind the counter.

"Hello" your mother nods politely. "Here do you have any Advil?" She asks as she places items in the basket you're holding. You shake my head no as she puts the bottle of Advil in the basket. After about 15 minutes of wandering the store you head over to the register.
"I'm Mr Delmar, you must be new in the area" the kind man says as he scans the items.
"My daughter here is actually moving in with my other daughter to go to school in the area" your mum explains, placing the final items on the counter. "Here, go put the basket back" she tells you as she hands you the empty basket. As you walk towards the door to put the basket away you feel a body crash into yours suddenly.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking at where I was going and I didn't hear the bell ring, I'm sorry" You start to ramble nervously.
"It's alright, I should have been more careful as to where I was going too." The boy said, handing you the basket that you had dropped. You took in his features, curly brown hair, brown eyes along with a happy smile.

"Oh uh Thanks" You said taking the basket.
"Ready to go?" Your mum asked coming from the counter.
"Oh yeah just let me put this back" You say rushing to put it away. Your mum followed and you left the store and made your way back to the apartment.
"Well he was cute." Your mum teases you on the way back.
"Mum" You laugh. The rest of the walk was filled with casual conversation and Jemma worrying about you. Suddenly you are both startled by something swinging past you. Your mum screams as blue and red flashes past you on your way home. You stop walking to see the thing swing around the corner.
