"Hey Pete ready to go?" You ask him after school when you both meet outside.
"Yeah sure" he shrugs walking beside you. "So are you going to the party y/n?" He asked stuffing his hand in his pockets.
"No I don't think I will, I'm not much of a party person and I have work to catch up on" You explain simply.
"Seriously you can't take a break for one night?" He asked jokingly with a nudge.
"Nope and would you look at that we're at the library" You comment walking up the cement steps. "First I'm going to find a book then we can work on our science project" You tell him. "Now mj gave me a list of recommendations first one is the hunger games" after about 20 minutes of searching you finally found the perfect book. Once you checked it out you found Peter and sat next to him at the table, getting ready to start the science project.

~time skip~
"Hey kids how was school?" May asked cheerily as we entered the car.
"It was really good actually" You tell her, buckling your seat.
"Yeah school was okay" Peter tells his aunt lying about missing first period.

"Well that's great let's get home" May started to pull out of the library parking lot.
"Do you have a key?" Peter asks causing you to laugh at the time you got locked out.
"Yes I have my key, see" you tell him dangling your key in his face.
"I'm home Alya" you called as you entered your apartment door.
"How was your day" she asks as you head towards your room.
"It was good, I got a book for English, aced my fitness test thanks to Mays training, and I was invited to a party" you explain to her as she follows you to your room.
"Wait you are going to a high school party?" Alya asked with excitement flowing through her.
"Oh no I'm not going I just got invited" you correct sitting down at your desk, pulling out your books.
"You should totally go to that party. Relax a little, blow off some steam" your sister suggests. You sigh and look over at her sitting on your bed.
"I don't need to go to some high school party Alya" You tell her in an annoyed tone.
"Your just like mom and dad, so uptight, relax a bit it's just one night you can hang out with your friends, I'm sure daisy would side with me." She counters your statement. "You are making friends right?" she suddenly asks, concern lacing her voice.
"Yes I have friends, three of them actually so there is no need for you or mom or dad to worry about me" You state getting more annoyed.
"Fine, but your still going to that party. I'll see if may can drive you with Peter" she gets up and walks out of your room. "Oh and wear something fun" she adds popping back into the door way. You walk over to your closet and pull out some clothes.
"I said wear something fun not an outfit mom would wear" Alya repeats as you walk out of your room wearing a sweater and collared shirt. You sigh and walk back to your closet this time putting on a plain tee shirt with a pair of jeans.
"I'm heading out now I'll see you later!" You call as you walk out of the door making sure to shut it behind you. You turn and knock on the parkers door.
Peters POV
"Do you have your suit?" Ned asked eagerly as he sat in Peters room.
"Yeah I have the suit" I respond lifting up my sleeve to show the red one hidden underneath.
"Cool" Ned comments with a head nod.
"Ned I need your advice" I start.
"Spider-Man needs my help does this mean I'm your guy in the chair?" Ned asks gushing with excitement.
"No, no dude this is about y/n."
"Ohhh I get it you need girl help" Ned understands with a smirk. "So what do you need help with I thought you liked Liz" Ned questions.
"I do but I think I might like y/n as well. I mean she's incredibly smart and beautiful but I totally ditched her in class today." I sigh laying back on my bed.
"Just chill okay it's probably just because she the new girl in a week you'll be head over heels for Liz again" my best friend comments.
"But it doesn't feel like that. The other night when I got hurt on that mission I came back here but I went to her window by mistake, but instead of shooting me with that fancy looking gun she pulled me, a stranger into her home to help me tend to my wounds" I explain remembering the night vividly with a genuine smile.

"You know what will take your mind off this girl stuff?"
"What Ned?"
"Going to a party!" Ned cheers.
"Alright let's go" I say getting up with a huff and walking with Ned to get aunt May, when suddenly I see her.
Y/n POV
"Hello y/n come on in the boys will be ready in a moment." May told you, pulling you inside. "Oh my you look nice" she comments standing back to look at your outfit. You smile at her as the boys come out.
"Hey y/n" ned calls happily upon seeing you.
"Oh um hey y/n I thought you weren't going to the party" peter said as ned nudged him.
"My sister is making me go, she thinks I need more friends" you explain with a chuckle.
Little did you know Peter and Ned were talking about you moments before you arrived.
