After the decathlon things went back to normal at school, that was until everyone started getting ready for homecoming.
Peter POV I walked out of chemistry to go to the washroom when I bumped into the girl I had been crushing on.
"Oh hey Peter" Liz called upon seeing me.
"Oh uh h-hey" I stuttered nervously debating weather I should tell her how I feel. "I um I just wanted to ask how you have been doing" I asked mentally scolding myself for being so awkward in front of her.
"I've been good how about you?" Liz asks in response.

"I like you" I blurt out suddenly though it doesn't feel right.
"I know"
"You do?"
"Your terrible at keeping secrets" she tells me as I chuckle.
"Yeah you'd be surprised. I gotta get to class but um well I guess you already have a date to homecoming"

"Actually Ive been so busy planing it I never really got around to that part" Liz claims standing in front of me.
"You wanna go with me?" I blurt out again feeling that same odd feeling.
"Yeah sure" she smiles.
"Really? I mean uh great cool" I stutter with a smile.
"Cool" she nods before walking off. I smile as I walk back to class with the thought of Liz Allen being my date to homecoming.

"Y/n I need your help!" I rush over to y/n.
