Chapter 10

"Alright then, let's get you kids to that party" May dances out the door. Ned and you laugh as you follow her while peter gets embarrassed and shakes his head.

May pulls up outside of Liz's house where there are people inside and outside with loud music playing.

"I remember going to house party's in high school I'm kinda jealous" May says looking at the house thinking of the times she would sneak out to party's.

"It'll be a night to remember" Ned claims as you look nervously out of the window. The closest you have ever been to a party was visiting the boiler room once or twice at the academy. That was until your parents found out and banned you from there claiming it was not suitable for a young cadet like yourself.

"You know Ned you rock that hat" May tells him, pulling you back to the present moment.

"Hey let's just go home" peter says nervously looking at his aunt.

"Oh peter I know it's really hard trying to fit in with all the changes your body's making" May starts causing Peter to look away trying not to get embarrassed. "He's been so stressed out lately" May looks back to you and Ned.

"You know what helps with stress going to a party" Ned directs to Peter.

"Yeah I'm gonna go" Peter states getting out. You roll your eyes and follow them, not wanting to be there.

"Kids have fun okay" May calls genuinely.

"Bye May" Ned shouts before she dives off down the street. You walk into the loud house behind peter and ned as they talk to one another. Once we stop in the house You hear a familiar voice.

"I can't believe you guys are at this lame party" MJ comments making toast in the kitchen.

"MJ thank god your here, my sister made me come" You tell her rushing into the kitchen to be with your friend.

"Oh my gosh hey guys I'm so happy you came" Liz says walking over to the boys.

~time skip~

"Hey ned have you seen peter?" You ask walking through the crowd noticing that you haven't seen Peter since you arrived.

"Oh um no he left early, wasn't feeling well" Ned lies for him. You give him a suspicious look before nodding along.

"Alright well I'm gonna head home now I'll see you at school tomorrow" You wave goodbye. Once you are away from the party you pull out your phone. "Hey Alya can you come pick me up? Peter left early and I don't have a way home" you ask your sister hoping she isn't too busy.

"I'm on my way I'll be there in a few minutes" she responds as you can hear her keys jingle through the phone.

"What happened to Peter?" Alya questioned once you got in the car.

"He left early Ned said he wasn't feeling well" you explain with a sigh. Your sister nods and drives off knowing you probably don't want to talk about it. Without saying a word you entered the building and reached your apartment.

"Do you want to go check on him?" Your sister asked as she pulled out the keys to her apartment.

"No I don't want to bother him if he's not feeling good" you state disappointed.

"Okay let me know if you need anything" Alya says once you get inside. You head directly for your room and shit your door with a huff. Why would he just leave like that again. First in science class now at the party something was going on with this kid and you were going to find out.

You sat on the fire escape trying to process everything that has happened in the past few weeks. That was when you saw the familiar blur of red and blue swing by leaving a smile on your face as you tucked your knees into your chest.
