"Peter are you okay I was worried?" You ask as soon as you see him after school.
"Yeah I'm alright, why?"
"Well I didn't see you at all last night and Ned told me you left early because you didn't feel good" you quickly explain hoping for some answers.
"Oh yeah sorry about that I was getting a headache so I walked home" He lied.
"Are you insane I mean I know you grew up here but isn't it a little dangerous to be walking the streets of New York alone at night?" You ask growing more and more concerned.

"Well I'm fine but if it makes you feel better I won't do it anymore." Peter promised hoping he could at least make you feel better. "So are you ready for the decathalon meet?" He asked changing the topic thinking you wouldn't notice.
"Yeah I just need to finish packing" You tell him, noting how he wanted to change the subject.
"Aunt May and I can drive you to the school since I'm going anyway" he offered as you nodded.
"Yeah that would be great"
~one week later~
"Okay I got my toothbrush, toothpaste, textbooks, notebook, icer, phone, ah I forgot my keys and I need my hairbrush." You scramble around the house packing.
"Don't forget your decathlon jacket!" Alya called from the dining room.
"Thanks sis I'll see you when I get home" You tell her as you give her a quick hug and make your way towards the door.
"Hey y/n are you ready for the decathlon meet" May asked you as you entered their appartment. You nod my head in response with a nice smile. "Peter get her bag" May tells him as he walks out wearing his jacket and carrying his own bag.
"Oh no it's fine I got it" You say putting my backpack over your shoulders.
"Are you sure I don't mind" Peter offers.
"Yes I got it" You tell him before turning to follow May out to the elevator.
"Alright you kids behave yourself and have fun" May tells you as you get out of the car.
"Love you May, see you in a few days" Peter tells her as we rush off to the bus to meet our team.

"There you guys are we thought you bailed on us" Liz claims as we rush over to meet our team.
"Nope we are here and ready to go." Peter says too excitedly.
"Alright then everybody on the bus let's go!" Mr Harrington called ushering us up the stairs of the yellow school bus. Peter and ned sat together behind you while you got stuck sitting with Liz.
MJ: Too bad I couldn't come.
Y/n: Yeah it's no fun here without you. hope you feel better soon, until then I have to share a room with Liz.
MJ: Good luck with that I'm sure you'll be partying all night.
Y/n: Haha no I'll be studying, anyway I have to go now Liz is quizzing us.
"Y/n what is the strongest metal on earth?" Liz asked as you tucked away your phone.
"That would be vibranium" You answer confidently as she nods to signal you are correct.
"Alright students we are here you will each be checked into your rooms for the night. You need to get plenty of rest before tomorrow's meet" Mr Harrington told us as the bus stopped outside of a hotel.
"Abraham and Flash here is your key" Liz called handing them a hotel room card. "Peter and Ned" she smiled at them. "And finally you and me" she smiled as you walked up to the second floor together.
"This is our room" You tell her, using your key card to open the door. "What bed do you want?" You ask Liz upon entering the clean hotel room.
"I'll take this one" she sets her bags down on the bed closest to the door.
"Sounds good to me" You say placing your bag on the other bed.
~time skip~
"Hey y/n are you gonna come swimming with us?" Liz asked exiting the bathroom in a bikini and holding a towel.

"Oh no thanks I've got studying to do" You claim opening your laptop as you sit on your bed wearing pyjamas.
"Alright well if you change your mind we'll be down at the pool" she told you with a wave before leaving the room. Soon after she left you hear a soft knock on the door. Walking over quietly and carefully you look out of the peephole to see a shy boy with curly brown hair. You smile as you open it to fully see your friend.
"Hey Pete what's up?" You ask the boy standing in the doorway.
"Oh well I was just wondering if I could come in" he asked, nervously scratching the back of his neck.
"Peter why are you really here?" You ask knowing he's lying to you.
